Death is the New Pink and Into the Odd Framework

Hey everyone! This is a framework for the indie-RPG Death is the New Pink . Death is the New Pink is a gonzo, post-apocalyptic RPG that uses the Into the Odd by Chris McDowall. I've been working on this framework for a good while and it was really time to share it. It's not totally finished but it d...

Re: Rod's 'Drop-In' Markdown Notebook

Figured it out. Found an example of what I was looking for on 2.5.6 :) Here's the bit of code I used to make it work for future people out there! [h:value=getLibProperty("Value","Lib:Welcome")] [h:description=json.get(value,"1. Welcome")] [h,if(isGM()==1):share=0;share=...

Re: Rod's 'Drop-In' Markdown Notebook

Hi Rod! Thanks for your work on this macro, it really fills in a feature I was looking for. Is it possible to create a link to other notebook entries? I tried [link](1.Welcome@Lib:Notebook) which of course didn't work (I didn't really expect it too). I also tried [link](render@Lib:Notebook "li...

Re: Star Trek Adventures

Awesome work! I'm also new to coding too so I love seeing other peoples work. Never played Star Trek Adventures myself but this seems like a really well done framework. Someone on the forum asking for a STA framework too!

Re: Solutions to my isometric problems

Very cool post!! Thanks for sharing this! I've wondered if tokens and backgrounds could interact like this so it's awesome to see. Seems a bit tedious to manually paint sections white then overlay a transparent image though. I'm also curious if there are another solutions. Also, I'd love to see more...

Re: Rod's D&D 5e Framework

Hi, I just stumbled over your fantastic work and are trying to implement it into my campaign (starting from new but as I'm using the bag of tricks for many things, im trying to make a new campaign file with both. A few issues, but mainly, the lib:welcome and the lib:rules have owners set. Thats so ...

Re: Question Does Maptools support animated gifs

If you check out the Maptool Github, you'll see support for animated gifs is a planned feature. It's a long way off though. It seems it'll be possible after the Maptool 2.0 update. Stay tuned!

Re: Rod's D&D 5e Framework

Hey jrthom12! I'm not the creator of this framework. That would be @rtakehara! I agree though, it is a great framework! :) I actually had no idea about the folder with the other backgrounds. You can drag and drop those rptok files into your campaign and you'll have the background info right there, w...

Re: Rod's D&D 5e Framework

I'm not sure what issue you're having or what you're asking. If I add a Tabaxi to my race list, I can choose it in the character creation. It won't automatically fill in languages, ability boosts, etc but the framework asks me for that information. The framework also asks for all that info when sele...

Re: Rod's D&D 5e Framework

I had a similar issue. I think I added two extra spaces after each line to fix it. Try that. Also, don't forget you can use the DDBeyond importer to import monsters AND spells. So if you're having issues adding spells manually, just use the importer. Here's how to add a new class and subclass https:...

Re: Smart Doors - macro enhanced doors with Vision Blocking

I do have question about the double doors feature though. Attached is a gif of what's happening. I'm not too sure about the macro code behind the scenes but I'm wondering if this is working as intended? In this case, I want the right door to swing open from along the right wall/frame, instead of kin...
