Re: [4E] Rumble's "Slim" Framework
Rumble's awesome. Just wanted to note that I love this framework to pieces and if I ever start doing a lot of 4e Maptool again, it's gonna be using this. Thanks for all your work.

Re: Converting the .dnd4e file into JSON, or csv or a token
Note: the format of the .dnd4e character file changes a lot. Every time WotC issues an update it seems they add or remove things from the .dnd4e file. A character I made a week ago had very little "Power" information, but the one I made this week contains every detail of all his powers, s...

Re: Fiasco
I've just played Ice, but it was great. It went in completely different directions than I expected, and I really enjoyed not GMing. Aftermath is a bit confusing at first, I think. What's supposed to happen: you use your total (after rolling) to determine the general outcome for your character, as yo...

Re: MT on ipad?
Oh and I don't think you have to worry about porting a JavaScript engine to iOS, because if you included it your app wouldn't be allowed to be placed on the app store. No interpreters are allowed within programs. :( Hm. The AppStore is evil. :evil: :cry: I always considered it bad (with the vendor ...

Re: Fiasco
I have nothing useful to add to the Maptool portion of the discussion, but I love Fiasco to pieces. Great game.

Re: PDF Monster Parser for DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framew
I took the Cyclops Hewer, and changed the following things:
TRAITS -> Traits
TRIGGERED ACTIONS -> Triggered Actions
STANDARD ACTIONS -> Standard Actions
Worked like a charm. Evil Eye needed a little cleanup, but otherwise it's good.

Huh. I'll mess around with yours some later.Dielzen wrote:Yea, tried that =/Thanlis wrote:Change all the uppercase section heads to mixed case.
Looking at your example which now works and mine that doesn't, I'm not seeing any context differences, driving me nuts.

Aha, betcha I know what it is (now that I'm sure we're not insane). Here's a block that fails: Drow Ranger (level 20) Level 20 Artillery Medium fey humanoid (drow) XP 1,600 HP 140; Bloodied 70 Initiative +15 AC 32, Fortitude 32, Reflex 34, Will 31 Perception +17 Speed 7 Darkvision STANDARD ACTIONS m...

Re: PDF Monster Parser for DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framew
I started doing this, and it rocks the MM1 cards, but when I try to make tokens MM3 style, I don't get any powers. I'm getting this too, and yeah, I'm swapping to MM3 in the Stat Card Entry Box. It happens when using both the basic DN 5 campaign and the hybrid Veggie/DN5 campaign in use over on the...

Re: New iPad
I also see that I can double click on the button to pull up the opened apps. I can then hold my finger on one and close those apps. Not sure if it is needed or not on the Ipad - I guess I am just used to Task Killer on the Android. I did download a DLNA/Upnp app though that allows me to play the mu...

Re: Wizards VTT (re)announced
So I got my invite. There's no NDA. Woo! The Java applet is signed by GameTable Online, Inc. That's these guys , which explains why the Character Builder is written in Silverlight and the VTT is written in Java. Also, GTO hosts at Rackspace and that's where the VTT is connecting, so I feel pretty co...

Re: [4E] An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic F
I may not be following the exact steps, but I can't reproduce that - if I change the power's usage, it all works as expected - changes the color of the macro button, and the color of the title bar in the dialog box, and then outputs to chat as usual. I tried it by launching it from both the macro b...
