Whoops, I didn't specify my preferred method of contact. PM here or email is fine. AZ, you may still have my phone number, so feel free to call me too!

When I was playing 3.5 I got great enjoyment using Farland's mass combat program. It's free and you can download it here: http://www.farlandworld.com/program.html

Re: MT + Digital Pen?
It would certainly be nice to "paint" VBL for caves and such. Those kind of areas would be perfect for rounded VBL. It's just that hit to performance. I totally agree with ya! I feel kinda stupid now because Az explained all of this to me a long time ago, and I had just forgotten about ho...

Re: MT + Digital Pen?
Once I read Jector's reply, I was remembering that issue of waypoints. Thanks for the reminder! And thanks Az, for the elaboration, and it makes a lot of sense.
Actually, now that I've had some practice with it, it's really pretty workable, and still faster and easier than using a mouse.

MT + Digital Pen?
Sorry Az, I wasn't sure where to post this, as I haven't been as regular here recently. As you might have read on my other thread, I recently picked up a Tablo, which converts my laptop into a digital pen. First off, it freakin' rocks! But now that I've had a chance to use it in a live game environm...

Re: Favorite characters
I've been playing RPG's for what seems like forever, and I think I've been all over the map in gaming styles. I started playing OD&D & Basic D&D around 1980-81ish. I played D&D all the way up through 3.5, but admittedly, it felt like D&D was going in the wrong direction for my pl...

Re: I got an AMAZING gadget for my birthday that ROCKS with
This really ooks cool but how exactly do you use it with Maptools? I mean i'm geeky enough to just buy one but I'm not sure how I woul use it with MT? It looks like it works as your mouse. Ryuu is correct, in regards to its use in MapTools. In drawing programs, it's also pressure sensitive so it wo...

This really ooks cool but how exactly do you use it with Maptools? I mean i'm geeky enough to just buy one but I'm not sure how I woul use it with MT? You can use it 2 ways with MT. I use it as both a mouse for navigating around the screen, and as a drawing tool for whipping up maps on the fly. For...

Re: I got an AMAZING gadget for my birthday that ROCKS with
I saw one of these awhile ago and was thinking about it. One of the limitations (of the one I was looking at) was that the screen had to be 15" or smaller. I saw that too, and I have a 17.5" laptop. I decided to risk it, since you have the option to use the pen on a pad of paper or in the...

I bought mine through SizzleTwist: http://search.store.yahoo.net/cgi-bin/nsearch?catalog=yhst-91018624117015&vwcatalog=yhst-91018624117015&query=tablo&x=0&y=0 and their shipping was really fast. I got it in 3 days. It looks like this place has it too: http://a-power.com/product-9717-...

I got an AMAZING gadget for my birthday that ROCKS with MT!!
Hey there everyone! I know I've been pretty quiet on here lately, but I'm still a faithful MT user. I've been putting the finishing touches on my new Fudge-based Sword & Sorcery RPG. But I've also been doing a lot of gaming! My birthday was Wednesday, and I ordered myself a little something that...

Re: How did you pick your Username?
I've been a professional magician for the past 11 years, and when I first started going to online forums, I mostly frequented magic-related sites. I was known in my area for doing both stage and close-up levitations, and a few of my regular clients started calling me "The Levitator", kind ...
