Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities
One more bug: in the Equipment field of the Equipment tab, if you have HTML line breaks in the field, it jacks up when you open it for editing again. Also, a question: am I missing something, or is there no way to specify bonuses on a magic item? Amulets, for instance, add their enhancement bonus to...

Re: [1.3b50] Duplicate token numbering
I can cross that out as a possibile underlying cause. I get the same bug in Linux, and I've never used external drag/drop.galneweinhaw wrote:Can't check now, but I think it was a token that I pulled in from windows explorer, as opposed to from within the maptool directory.

Re: MT 1.3b57 Progress
Be that as it may, this does not seem to be an option in Photoshop. There are two options for PNG output: PNG8 and PNG24. PNG 8 only supports one level of transparency. Intermediate levels of transparency may be dithered or matted, but cannot retain multilevel transparency. You can select multiple ...

Re: MT 1.3b57 Progress
That looks like a good idea, but my GIMP 2.2 doesn't support it (I'm downloading 2.6 to see if it's there). Otherwise, APNG seems the way to go. GIMP unfortunately has no plugins for it, and none seem to be under development. I was going to write one, but I figured someone else would. Guess not. >8...

Re: MT 1.3b57 Progress
Nice thing about the APNG format is that it falls back nicely to PNG. Additional frames are stored as custom chunks which are ignored by the PNG spec, but the initial image is encoded as any other PNG. Should be able to just ignore those chunks when it's convenient.

Re: WoTC DM Survey Asks about Maptools or Fantasy Grounds
After all - MapTool does not explicitly support any given game system, but I don't see a reason to refuse to add a feature that supports one unless it's a) not worth implementing or devastating to performance, b) actually prevents MapTool from being as system-neutral as it should be, or c) legally ...

Re: MT and linux
Just edit the shell script/command you use to launch the .jar. One of the options set on the command line is the allotted memory. For instance, for maximum 1024MB memory and 2M stack size:
-hC
Code: Select all
java -Xmx1024M -Xss2M -jar maptool-*.jar run

Re: WoTC DM Survey Asks about Maptools or Fantasy Grounds
However, setting that aside, there's still the Corner-based vision that has had a couple recent posts. Workarounds exist, but for actual support of that type of vision (similar to how MT can do one-one-one diagonals), corner based sight is needed (again - needed if we want true D&D 4th Edition ...

Re: WoTC DM Survey Asks about Maptools or Fantasy Grounds
1. Low-light: in 4E, this doesn't expand visual range; it just makes Dim light into Bright light for the character with lowlight vision. To mimic this I guess you'd have to make it possible for a single light source to be perceived in two different ways. Random musing, but something like: torch: 5....

I really like the "Full Discipline" keyword skills. They're totally awesome and have a ton of character.
