Re: Can't access top menus (Maptools 1.3b84p01)
What do you want me to say? Here's the evidence we have so far: 1. There are known issues with some versions of some video drivers. 2. MapTool works fine on systems with working drivers. 3. It doesn't work well on your system. Are you hoping there's some magic fix for MapTool that will fix your vid...

Re: Can't access top menus (Maptools 1.3b84p01)
To update my graphics card would be to revert it. I'm using a beta version of Forceware that has a higher amount of overscan compensation. "Doctor, it hurts when I do this." "Then don't do that." (That somehow seems strangely relevant here. ;)) If I don't do that, then I can't u...

Re: Can't access top menus (Maptools 1.3b84p01)
As mentioned, already went through the uninstall and reinstall of Java. As well as reboot.
I'm not sure what to log even, since I don't know what's breaking and the logging system seems to be strangely specific.

Can't access top menus (Maptools 1.3b84p01)
One of my players can't seem to access the file, edit, etc. menus. He can interact with the map, the resource explorer, and so forth but these specific menus won't open / can't be clicked. He's using Windows 7. He's already reinstalled Java. He gets the same results with b76 as well. He can get to '...

Mobile MapTools?
I have been looking into android (htc dream/google g1 phone) development as of recently, when a curious wonder donned upon me. The application framework for the G1 is java.
With that in mind, and given android emulation is already available, is it possible for an application such as this be ported?

IO Error [1.3.b20]
One of my players is currently having the following error: "IO Error: com.caucho.hessian.io.HessianProtocolException: unknowncode " Whenever she tries to connect to my server. My other players can connect just fine. She has updated Java. She is on Windows Vista. This is both with webstart ...

You mean as an import/export ? Send me a sample and let me take a look (submit@rptools.net) Import/Export.. m, no. That would be to the Character Tool. I mean something like, linking to the sheet and reading data from it from inside maptools quickly. Picking out stats, ECL, anything, of a character...

ActiveXObject or fload support
Does dicetools support ActiveXObject or another way to access local files [fload()] (of course, with dicetools running off of the computer itself)? ActiveXObject would make handling xml character sheets a breeze. fload would take a bit of testing and work, but could also do it. If there is no equiva...

Actually, we've discussed intregrating with 3eprofiler in the past and have interest in doing it in the future :) RPG Web Profiler? That's a decently great combine - however, instead of it just mirroring the site, it would feel better to just let it import the xml files of the characters that you c...
