Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
Hi, arlodu. No progress from SJ on their policy related to the framework. But let me see what i can do with your bug. It's probably something relatively simple, perhaps related to a macro change since I last did extensive development on the framework. I won't be able to look at this till the end of ...

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
I have been following the intermittent discussions on the GURPS forums about the likelihood of a licensing change that would permit the more comprehensive MapTool framework we had built several years ago. I won't have time until the Christmas break to work on anything, but I'll keep my eyes open for...

Re: Merging Bag of Tricks and Gurps Framework
You might consider looking at the existing GURPS framework, which has small character sheets and encounter tracking.
Caution: I haven't tested it with b89 yet.

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
MapTool's uncertain future caused me to stop development for a while. MapTool 1.4 will require a complete rewrite of the code in JavaScript, and the MapTool 1.3 releases have been quite rare and buggy lately. I've been a little reluctant to do too much work until there's a clear future for the progr...

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
I ran a session Saturday night using the new MapTools release, 1.3b88. I noticed a few minor problems with the release, but the framework itself seemed to work fine. Any bug reports from other users?

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
Hi, aelana. Thanks for trying out the framework. 1. What is the proper way to set conditions. If I set it via right click or double clicking on the token, it shows up on the map but not on the character sheet. If I use the macro buttons it shows up on the character sheet but I don't seem to have any...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Final, patch04 (build 87)
Since a zoom-out seems to force a redraw, might it be possible to simply zoom out a tiny bit on startup? It'd be a hack, but it would be quick, safe, and forgivable.

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
I'm very aware that token creation is too slow, by the way. I'm building up a library of MapTool tokens for basic monsters and NPCs for distribution with the next version of the framework. These will include all the animals in the Basic Set , plus a few goblins and trolls, and 50-, 150-, and 250-poi...

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
Well, putting things this way, 2*DR is just EP in disguise :) This just means that flexible armours have a default EP = DR, waiting for you to customize it later on if you will  I suppose I could implement it such that armor has EP = DR by default. Shouldn't be too much extra work, and would ...

Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
There's an optional rule, "Blunt Trauma and Edged Weapons", in the box on Low-Tech 102 that addresses this issue. - A cutting blow that does damage up to DR is stopped by the armor entirely. - A cutting blow that does more damage than the armor's DR but less than 2*DR causes blunt trauma: ...

Re: 'bug' or not? [b87]
Thanks much for the information about the blank output line and the caution about the size of onTokenMove calls. It'll help keep my framework clean and responsive.
