Is there a 1.4 road map?
Do we have a road map for the plans to 1.4? If not a specific step by step plan, then a current list of planned changes/rewrites/upgrades etc? I see a lot more 1.4 talk coming about as of late, but I am curious if there is a master plan someplace.

Re: 1.4 feature implementation idea - Layers, VBL and MBL.
Why not pre-process a VBL layer in bitmap form into a form that the map-tools engine can deal with? This would work great as it would allow the user to select a 'level of detail' during the import to detail the objects in. Lower settings would result in VBL layers that are horrible approximations of...

Re: strange vision arcs
This used be caused by the grid being resized and moved. Have you moved or resized it in the maps where this error occurs? Try re-defaulting it to see if that works.

Re: [1.3b59] Initiative lock movment not working as expected
Just an update. We are still having intermittent issues with this bug in 1.3b63. I'll post an update to see if it can be re-created in b64 as well.

Re: SSH tunneling to port forward
Just as a quick update to anyone curious, I've settled in on a virtual server host to use with SSH tunneling. It amazingly well. VPSlink offers some fairly cheap plans with 100GB of transfer. I have already tried hosting from a variety of trouble spots, at home, one campus, roaming around on wifi, e...

Re: SSH tunneling to port forward
Thanks for all the great tips, and props to that rather nifty little perl script use. Perl is such an evil thing. It makes you so lazy to program in, and its versatility keeps pulling you back. I am not on campus housing, but the apartment complex I live at is basically a dorm. Saves $3K a year in b...

Re: SSH tunneling to port forward
Yes, what you're considering will work.... 1. I agree there, and I've done a bit of man paging to get the syntax nailed down. I'll need a host that is configured correctly though. By default, the listening socket on the server will be bound to the loopback interface only. This may be overridden by ...

SSH tunneling to port forward
I am currently shoe-horned into a rather poor hosting environment to host a Map Tools server. I am trying to get around the issue that I am well behind a NAT that I have zero control over, from an ISP that offers no dedicated IPs or port forwarding. I am considering using SSH to tunnel out to a remo...

Re: Dice Tool updates
I'm curious about this too. There are times when I'd love to just have a nice dedicated dice program, and MapTools has a lot of nice dice features that the dice application lacks... Confusion abounds!

Thanks for the work! This is going to take a HUGE workload off of players and the GM at the next game!

Re: [1.3B59] Token Movment Distance
This effect is in 1.3B60 as well. Tokens that are moved without snap to grid on, have a movement indicated @ zero movement. This effect still isn't the same with different sized tokens. For now I can just subtract the initial movement to figure our how far a given token is allowed to move, but this ...

Re: Ia! MapTool! Call Of Cthulhu Framework
The further development is always appreciated =) Out of curiosity, do you have any plans to make a sort of "from scratch" character button? It would be great to click a single button that would then run a series of dialogs to gather all the needed information for a character (Name, profess...

Re: Ia! MapTool! Call Of Cthulhu Framework
Will use the fix for my next session. I'm interested to see how it goes. Out of curosity, we tend to have missions that result in the same skill being rolled over and over and over (not always the same one, but Spot Hidden is a fan favorite). Is there and easy way to hack up a macro to search though...

[1.3B59] Token Movment Distance
Tokens in b59 without snap to grid seem to start with a large amount of movement when clicking and dragging. This effect seems to increase with the size of the token.
