Re: eBook Readers

The default PDF reader is pretty good on the Nook color. Using my wifes nook primarily text PDF's were fine but heavy image PDF's such as some of my White Wolf PDF's were unreadable. The PDF's with images now look wonderfull on my Nooc Color. The weakness in the Nook Color PDF reader is the inabili...

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

Good news and bad news.
Good news: The hyperlinks now work.
Bad news: The page talks about a Beta version 5, but the only links available are for Bets 2, 3, and 4.

Almost there.

Thanks for the quick response.

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

When I click the link for the campaign file, I cannot download it. I get an error message about the website being unavailable or not being found. Do I have to login to the website before I can download it? Is the link correct?

I find it ironic that a user called "Full Bleed" would know the answer to this query.

Re: MapTool 1.3 Bugfix Build 66

On the lauch pages all I see is config file err: maptool-development.txt where the link used to be. Re: DMGenie - Pulled the Plug

I still use DM Genie heavily in my 3.5 homegame, since it was made very usable over its development period. It was quite sad to see it become unsupported, particularly when I look back at the productive few years when the developer and several active forum users worked issues/improvements (quite sim...

Really big paddles and a lot of crew members? 8)

This link gives a pretty good description of how it maneuvered as well as hyperjumped.

How ironic. Instead of actually doing some software programming on 12 September, I spent all day troubleshooting hardware in our production facility. If I had known about "National Programmer's Day", I might have been able to convince my boss that somebody else could have figured out which...

Re: RHoD on an Asus EEE PC 701

The ideal scenario with this laptop would be to be able to plug its external VGA connector to a TV that's in the room we play, so I could display the map and minis to the players, even without letting them see the rolls and workings of the DM side (this ideally requires the twin monitor option prom...

I agree that this would be a good thing. Double-clicking on a token in the init window should jump to the particular token clicked and enable that token only, not include it with any other tokens previously enabled. A nice update, though! I was thinking that such a thing would be nice when playing w...

I was just thinking about having a similar improvement earlier today when I was running a game. When I zoomed out, I could not tell what states existed on any creature anymore. The 2nd example given by Aidy Baby seems like a good compromise (with the smaller images) on saving screen space to me.

This thread definitely needs to be Stickied, and maintained. It is a very good overview on the macro functionality of the program.

Good job!
