Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.10.0 [Event Pads]

Just out of curiosity, on your pad tokens, if you edit them go to the Config tab. The Properties dropdown should be set to Teleport. Is it?

Re: Maps in Maptool and Memory Sizes

True, I have no skills because I haven't learned how. But I do realize that the time I would need to invest in learning to at this time outweighs the free time I actually have to do it. And, with many other excellent coders around who graciously spend their time helping others like me out, I don't s...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.10.0 [Event Pads]

So I'm messin' with the vision limiter. Love how it's reducing the vision in the foggy areas I have. But, I'm curious if there's a way to adapt it to work with different types of vision. The problem I'm having is when a token has Darkvision. Since they aren't carrying a light source, as soon as they...

Re: Maps in Maptool and Memory Sizes

have you considered creating your own map changer, should not be too hard, maybe 10 lines of code, probly less... actually you could grab the code from the settings macro in the BoT,... You mean as system macro buttons? That would be useful for sure, but alas I would have to ask someone to design t...

Re: Maps in Maptool and Memory Sizes

thank you! And while were on this topic, is anyone using the border teleports? Those i created specifically for this use, to transport players to another map when they move over a pad. I'm not using that feature yet. I might considering the scope of a few levels I need to do, but as it is I'm only ...

Re: Maps in Maptool and Memory Sizes

Yes, Wolph42's BoT is awesomeness incarnate. LOL

I've been using his teleport pads extensively in my many many leveled campaign. Works like a charm. Although there are still some large maps that I would rather have on a single level than split into several.

Re: Maps in Maptool and Memory Sizes

Semi new to MapTool. Used it briefly about a year ago and loved it. Here's my dilemma: I want to make a zoomable map of an entire Shire roughly 100 by 80 miles. I'd like to zoom into any part of the map for an encounter if necessary. I've seen screen casts of maps done on a planetary scale so I'm p...

Re: Maps in Maptool and Memory Sizes

Sorry if this answer appears in another location. I am trying to import a TOEE map, it is a 9.62 MB jpeg, into maptool. I get a memory error then a red X. I have tried to locate a memory allocation function in maptool but so far am too green to figure it out. How can I get that map imported? Thanks...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.10.0 [Event Pads]

I'm not familiar with that shortcut, what is it? I am gaming this afternoon and we can give it a try. Who hits it, the DM or the player?

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.10.0 [Event Pads]

Hey Wolph, a little thing that bugs me, when using teleport/interpads. I've got my campaign set to auto refresh players vision when they move (rather than having to press Ctrl-I or having the DM refresh it). When a token is teleported to an area that still has fog, the vision is blacked out and the ...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.9.0 [Mapped Telpo

As for vision... Not sure how to get that generic, although I could provide a preset of sight variables you need to set for your own game, eg mtt_vision1, mtt_vision2, mtt_vision3 etc for which you can set the actual values for your own game and the token where you move over automatically set the t...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.9.0 [Mapped Telpo

Just to put my 2 cents in, I love the idea of being able to adjust vision based on a location. I never thought to try that with your traps functions, and will have to play with that (I've got plenty of foggy/misty/darkness areas in the dungeon). But, I do have a concern with it. Let's say you have a...
