Re: Antlion Aftermath

Staring at it, he quickly inspected it for markings or anything else that would make it more than a trapdoor. If there was anything noteworthy about it, aside from the coincidence of finding it, then those details have eluded him. He had to come to an quick decision about how to approach the situati...

Antlion Aftermath

[Taking some creative license] After the long and difficult battle with an antlion, the organs and raw materials that it held was soon collected by the party. However, they also had to tend to their wounded, Xanaph, which proved difficult because a sandstorm soon approached after they finished gutti...

Re: Campaign Story Arc - Player Input

Actually, the roleplaying and non-boss fights in Slayers is pretty good in my opinion. The bosses are the only major weakness, mostly because they suffer from Dragonballzia, which can be diagnosed by how an boss can take two or more episodes to defeat in a single battle. Mind you, Dragonball is also...

Yo, here is the first episode of Slayers, courtesy of Youtube's anime channel. Certainly worth watching if you enjoy anime. :)

Re: Campaign Story Arc - Player Input

Generally, 4th Edition D&D is considered to work in three tiers of power and scope. Heroic Tier, or levels 1-10 is mostly related to smaller things, like helping villages, escort missions, and other things that fairly good mercenaries could carry out. Two such examples of Heroic adventurers is T...

Re: Gihren's Mumblings

Looking around, he spied several stalls, most of them containing goods essential to surviving inside and outside of the walls of Tyr. Be it armor, weapons, food, or something else, it was probably here. Looking over the merchants and their goods, he sought out someone who would be interested in his ...

Re: Gihren's Mumblings

Having wandered away from one shopping district to another, Gihren came across a booth. Within it, the merchant was selling pictures and statuettes. The paintings themselves were works meant for the wealthy, while the statues were valued by the masses. This was because paintings often withered and d...

Gihren's Mumblings

Wandering around the markets of Tyr, Gihren sought out various items useful in the capture of an overly large cat. While browsing, he also sought out pawn shops and armor merchants. He possessed a suit of leather armor that he no longer wished to own, because he had no desire to keep it. Given to hi...

Re: Beneath the Athasian Sun

Yo. I am not sure if I would be able to attend tomorrow, due to dealing with a videocard problem. The "spine" of my new videocard is very large, to the point it can't fit the back of my chassis, so I need to visit someone who might know how to resolve the problem without damaging the video...

Re: Beneath the Athasian Sun

I think the Powers that each player chooses for their class really determines the workings of that Class. For example, your powers seem to be based around control by altering terrain or otherwise immobilizing the enemy in some way. Another wizard could opt for direct-damage or defensive spells. I do...
