Re: Google Android Discussion
Motorola's phones have always been top notch in my experience. I have an HTC phone, but it is several years old; however, it is still going strong. I'll second Amaril's recommendation for an HTC as well. Ultimately, since your provider is already chosen you only really need to worry about the OS, wh...

Re: Google Android Discussion
I have to agree with Amaril dorpond. If MS integration is that important, you should be using a Windows Mobile phone. We have a couple BB users at work, and trust me, BB isn't nearly as integrated as one might think. In fact, we just recently finally convinced people to stop buying BBs. That, howeve...

I know how it is, us Herophiles always draw the short straw. We don't have the clout that those polyhedral throwers have.

Yes, yes, and perfectly.dorpond wrote:PRMiller, are you connecting to an exchange environment by chance? Does it connect via the webmail address like the Blackberry does (Blackberry without using the management server)? If so, how well does it work with Exchange?

Re: Verizon Droid Discussion
No idea about the Verizon Droid, but I use a T-Mo G1 (running Android 1.6) and I use RoadSync to access my Exchange 2007 corporate email, which works flawlessly and won't fail when RIM goes offline :) I got the impression that the Droid can connect to exchange out of the box - anyone know this for ...

Re: HERO System dice
Not sure what you mean "put this into the tab." If you type that into the chat window, it should give you a result. If you want to make a macro, that will need to go into a token of some sort. You may want to just use one the Hero frameworks that have already been built if you want to avoi...

You need to use the "Hero variables" on the rolls: Stun: [3d6h], Body: [3d6b]
Use them together as they are linked.

Those were from me. I created the originals for a few of them, but those are based off the original originals.

Re: Commercial Maptool Product Discussion - have a say!
I'm always in search of modern stuff as I rarely play fantasy genre games these days, but some things like caverns can be modern such as when one goes spelunking. So if you were inclined to tackle modern stuff, put down one vote for me.

Re: Commercial Maptool Product Discussion - have a say!
And be carefull with the grid size and placement against your background drawing : torstan_cave_grid.jpg I have to disagree with that statement. Artists and mapmakers alike should never have to be constrained by the grid. The grid is an arbitrary game mechanic that was put in to handle tactical sit...

Re: Commercial Maptool Product Discussion - have a say!
So with three colours of ink, to get a light colour the ink is applied more sparsely, allowing the white of the paper to lighten the colour. On acetate this comes over as being more transparent. So if you have an object with light sections in it, that translates as being more transparent - which do...

Re: Commercial Maptool Product Discussion - have a say!
@RPMiller:The idea of a contact sheet for the set dressing is a nice one. I hadn't considered that. I was wondering about some means of printing the set dressing to acetate but the fact that acetates use transparent for white pretty much scuppers that for anything other than pits. I'm not sure what...
