Re: Strange Error on Mac

I'm running OSX 10.5.8 on my Macbook Pro, and I have Java 6 support just fine. I did, however, have to change a setting that you're likely to never see unless you're looking for it. Have your friend do this: 1) Make sure his updates are, well, up-to-date. I don't know why ever wouldn't be, but it do...

Re: Running Initiative in Maptools

According to the Documentation Wiki (bookmark it! ) the syntax is: [h: addToInitiative()] to get it into the initiative box, then: [h: setInitiative( expr )] where expr is any number or expression (such as 4 or 1d20) that you want to set the current token's initiative to. [EDIT]: Any everything Azhr...

MapTool Mac OSX Shell Script - Old or New?

I introduced one of my friends to MapTool recently, and he asked me to help him set up MapTool on his Mac. Silvered weapons are in the PHB, p220.

Adamantine (and I think mithril and cold iron) are covered in the Adventurer's Vault, under magic items.

As was mentioned, only the MW armors have different materials.

Do you have a value stored to the property when you run it? A null value (last I checked) causes a macro to prompt you for a value.

It boggles my mind that it's taking them so long to get it working. Then I remember they're a subdivision of a large corporate entity in America's legal web of beauracratic leaping-hoops. Who knows what kind of crazy reports and whatnot they have to put up with? So I pity the Devs a little. Then I g...

There is actually a newer version of the Tile-mapper you mentioned. It contains several new tile-sets and a variety of improved features. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but I only discovered it because of this thread. m Thanks a lot for the suggestions in here. I am going to play aroun...

It has replaced photobucket for images I 'shop. :D

It's also a lot less hassle than trying to network my Mactop and my Windows tower. "Easy to network" my donkey.

I've found that a good assumption in life is to assume people are stupid/uninformed. No offense to people.

So...keep it simple. Having 7+ scripts (!) is not, IMO, simple.

What would we be looking at if we went the way of installers?
