Help with resizing a map for Maptools

I'm looking to convert the Age of Worms adventure path from 3.5 to 5e. I found the online supplements that Paizo put out to go along with the magazines, in which they have both DM and Player maps. My question is since I can't just copy and paste the map images from the PDF, what size should I impor...

Re: Looking for resource free or pay sites.

Dundjinni just updated its archive site. It now includes the CSUAC. This had a Ton (well, gigs and gigs) of free objects, items, etc. The Jan '09 archive has cliff wall overlays, I'm sure there are more, but I haven't gone through them. http://www.halerecordings.com/gaming/gallery/main.php

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

I was reading over the readme file, and I noticed under the GM Utilities - DC Tables that you have the chart listed from the DMG. Was the framework updated to the latest DC table (in the Rules Compendium) and just not changed in the readme. If not, could you update it, or at least let us know where ...

Re: Veggie or Rumble?

I haven't used Rumble's FW in a game, but I did run Veggie's for my Scales of War Campaign. From a DMing perspective, I would probably reccomend Rumble's, for the sole reason of the ability to import monsters. A lot of my prep time in Maptools, with Veggie's FW, was spent inputting data for monsters...

No problem, I'm betting you use the Num pad to enter numbers though. :-P

Actually, the Essentials Wizard powers now have an Aftereffect feature as well. So once the condition ends, this effect kicks in.

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

Just a quick question. What would you recommend for memory settings on Maptools for using the the framework. I've use Veggie's framework in the past, and I know that I had to set the Stack size to about 10, but I remember you saying that that was too high for yours.

Re: 4E Monster Tokens

Check the latest rules update for the new damage, that doesn't require a subscription to access, and it explains the the changes better.

Re: 4E Monster Tokens

One thing I would suggest is to up the damage to fall in line with updated damage chart/MM3 format. This make the monsters much more of a threat. Also take advantage of the changes that were made to Solos & Elites in MM2. I wouldn't say that it's pointless to do, and if I used DevNull's framewor...

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

I have a question in regards to the updated monsters that will be implemented with the next D&Di update. Will the copy n paste function still work?

Selection Question and extracting a map

My first question involve selecting a number of monsters. For example, if I have a group of 5 monsters, and 3 of them take a hit, is there a way to select just those 3 monsters (like using the Ctrl key)? My other question involves getting a map from a DL cmpgn file. Is there a way to pull the map/ba...

Re: How do I create an aura visible only to the GM?

Just to be clear, if I add those lines of code to the Auras section, I should get the option to use the GM only auras on a token? I am kind of a novice at MT, and figure things out mainly by trial and error. BTW, I love your 4e framework, Rumble. I took the auras section from Veggie's framework (wha...

Re: DevoDog's Combat Manager

While I haven't been able to try this out yet, from what I have read this looks like the answer I have been looking for for cutting down my prep time. I was wondering if I could use JamesManhattan's tool that he created to make macrosets for tokens from the D&D insider files with this setup. Ram...

Re: "Combat Manager" for 4th Edition D&D

When you start up Maptools, change the Stack size to a larger number. Off the top of my head, I believe the default is 2 MB, I run it with at least 10. That should fix your problems.
