Re: Troll

I like the Troll label actually. It gives people a little shock at first and then a bit of a laugh, nothing too serious.

Oh, it looks like I'm back. 8)

If you look at the top of the message forums, there is this wonderful button labelled "Search". Click it and type in your query and I am sure it will point in the right direction. I need to drink now. (DRINK) Not to mention that searches here leave a bit to be desired both from the wide v...

Being able to select any font I have on my system and have it uploaded to my players would ROCK! ...that might be kinda hard to do, since you'd have to somehow get permissions to install the fonts. (Not to mention having to re-start the font-server/x-windows on Linux.) But just being able to change...

Might have a problem with implementation though. What happens if a player uses this code, as a player only has access to the token layer? If they put this new Damage Macro with auto-layer switch into their token, they would lose control of it. Of course, if you only use it when they have DIED, they...

I can't help as I'm not running b40 (fearful of the campaign munching it's been reported to do).

Ok... I'm hard at work with this stuff. Thanks guys! Follow-up question: Is there a way to get a dice-roll from within the results of an IF statement. example: {if(attackRoll!=1 && attackRoll!=20,[2d4+1+ITEM+INT],"")} {if(attackRoll!=1 && attackRoll!=20, 2d4+1+ITEM+INT ,&q...

Feature freeze is ..... loosely in effect already. I am making a concerted effort to only work on bugs and general fixing things up. It's the contributors that keep on adding the awesomeness :) Those darn contributors--they should stop! Er, no...they rock. So, essentially, you are working on cleani...

For the scripting to really be of value to me, I need to somehow be able to assign "static" variables to a token. Using D&D for an example, I would like to be able to have a variable for BaseAttack, so that when I click on the macro button it just does everything correctly. Having it ...

Hurrah for Trevor!

When can we expect a freeze on 1.3? I know that chat is planned to receive some major work in 1.4 and am wondering if I should just wait until then before working on custom fonts in the chat window.

Re: Best way to handle squares on fire?

I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle squares on a map being set on fire. In my first game, I found a fireball graphic, and just dragged it on the screen like it was a token. This worked OK, but when other tokens were in the square it was a problem, because you could only really see which...

Re: Default Campaign Properties

I may have missed it somewhere but is there a way to set the default campaign properties? I don't mean setting the campaign properties for a given campaign, I mean setting the default properties so you don't have to set them all over again every time you create a new campaign file. I searched and s...

How will the hidden roll be hidden? Will it automatically generate HTML comments or will the output be completely suppressed? If completely suppressed, might I suggest adding another option that outputs as [] does now but automatically wraps it in <!-- --> tags? It's completely suppressed. An optio...

Okay, I'm working on the new implementation. For reference, here's the revised summary: [ ] gets the new tooltip behavior. Just shows the output of the roll, blue text, light grey background. When you mouse over it, you get a tooltip showing the full roll expansion. { } keeps its current behavior. ...

My real question though, is a delimiter besides a space actually needed? If it's not needed, then my vote easily swings to not having one. But I also don't mind the colon. So if the eventual idea to "Stack" modifiers ever takes off, ESPECIALLY if we go with the optional full-word modifier...
