Greyhawk calendar FW

This is a map containing two library tokens with macros for time tracking and such for World of Greyhawk campaigns. (It's explicitly 1E, but may be suitable for use with a 2E or later campaign.)

I intend to expand it in time with additional functionality.

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

Do you have a script or tool for that you recommend?

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

For anyone interested in this Framework: It seems to work in MapTool 1.4.1.8. The 3.1 update definitely fixes some poorly defined problems I was having with 3.0. I have forked the project into my own GitHub so that it won't be lost. A friend and I are going to be fiddling with it to see what it need...

Re: Universal Inventory System (API)

I know this is a long dead thread, but since I was looking for the answer to the same question, I hope it's not out of place to post the answer: https://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=9152&start=30#p152390 (If the link doesn't work — don't know the limitations of the board, yet — it's on pa...

Re: Bundled apps for Mac OS X

(Do you happen to have an ANT task for building the .dmg file? If so I could add that to the build process and automate it.) I don't. I'm afraid I don't even know what an ANT task is (except extremely generally). I've been using Apple's JAR Bundler to make the application bundles, essentially by ha...

Re: Bundled apps for Mac OS X

After a long absence I have finally returned and updated the package bundles. InitiativeTool, CharacterTool and the latest MapTool (1.3.b69 - one beta version newer than available at rptools.net) are now available as downloadable disk images from http://www.ecyclops.com/rptools.html

Re: What is a "Framework"?

Does the site software support the ability to make a hierarchical data structure for linking to established frameworks? For instance, as I mentioned in another thread, I'm hoping to find a framework for AD&D1E, but the User Creations board is disorganized and seems to be long lists of DnD4E-rela...

Re: All zeros instead of text?

Perhaps a common problem, but zero is too common a term when I try to search the forums. When I run the program, anywhere I'm supposed to see text (menus, buttons, etc) show up as all zeros. Java versions installed: J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4 Java SE Runtime Environment 6 Any assistance ...

Re: Bundled apps for Mac OS X

Okay, I've prettified the page a little, and I've also added links to the JavaScript and Rhino downloads necessary for Character Tool. I've also thrown together a little script application to put the files from the downloads into the places they belong without having to unzip the whole thing. That i...

Looking for a macro framework for ADnD1E

Hi everyone. I'm old enough that I just like the quaint charm of ADnD1E. I've been messing about with MapTool, and it makes things much easier, but I'm not contemplating a macro framework for levels, experience, combat, etc. I have searched the forums, but 1E isn't a valid search term, and of course...

Re: Bundled apps for Mac OS X

Well, character tool still won't work on 10.5.8 macintels without some kind of hinky craziness. I hear Soyalttee mocha or something like that will help, but it won't work natively.. Le Sigh. Craig posted instructions here: http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4450 (about half-way down...

Re: Bundled apps for Mac OS X

Sorry for my late reply, everyone. I didn't realize that I wasn't being notified by email when there was a comment on this thread. I have now corrected that. The dmgs are available at m If you would like to load them up somewhere else, too, that's fine. If the powers that be would prefer I take them...

Bundled apps for Mac OS X

I liked the app version of MapTool so much I decided to do the same thing for the other tools. After some digging I found Jar Bundler and set up InitiativeTool, CharacterTool, DiceTool and TokenTool with nice Mac OS-friendly bundles with icons and everything. The menus don't go to the menubar becaus...
