Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

I don't think there's an open license for 1E materials. I could try to rejigger it for Old School or something — that should be pretty close.

We're finding that it's generally only breaking when we do something stupid, but that's often enough that I don't think it's really ready for prime time.

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

I'm actually rebuilding my machine right now due to an unfortunate occurrence during a drive upgrade. Fortunately, I had full backups from the day before. In short, I haven't looked for the handout macro yet, but I will soon. Since we have never played with the 2E ruleset it's very likely that we ha...

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

Rodcout, it is certainly true that our combat system is built on 1E. I don't have 2E source books, so I haven't even tried to work on that. (Plus, there's so much other work to do.) It's very possible that our combat system is pulling from a separate library. I'll take a look at that and see. I am d...

Re: TextMate Bundle - Macro Syntax Highlight and Code Completion

As I don't use MacOS anymore, I used Atom's built-in converter to make a syntax plugin for Atom. I took your TextMate plugin and whacked that. The steps I followed: apm init --package mtmacro --convert <path to the MapTool.tmbundle> (You can also apparently link directly to the github location of th...

Re: Sublime Text 3 - Macro Syntax Highlighting!

As I find myself using Atom more than Sublime Text these days, I used Atom's built-in converter to make a syntax plugin for Atom. I wasn't sure how to do it for Sublime Text, so I took your TextMate plugin and whacked that. The steps I followed: apm init --package mtmacro --convert <path to the MapT...

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

Bleed, your comments are well taken, as well as somewhat flattering. I will look into that. My campaign file is something of a mess because it is an active campaign, but I'm getting better at isolating the crud from the stuff what works. I will update my github project (fork of Celestian's) with my ...

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

In general, the items, etc., should be stored on tokens in the 'Framework - DB' map, which I didn't change. It's also possible that we've made some changes to the inventory library. We have identified some issues with items that include single quotes or commas in their names, and haven't gotten arou...

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

Thanks, Mask, for the update. I particularly appreciate your noting your use of RPEdit. I don't think I've used it before, and I'm going to try it now. FWIW, I use Subversion with a MTMacro lexer that helps with code analysis. Since I'm on Linux, it's more convenient than Notepad++. I will definitel...

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

I swapped out your "Framework - Library" for mine and the character sheets are working properly. (Or seem to be.) That said, we've made a number of other changes to the libraries (including adding an Experience bar to the character sheets), so if you want a more "vanilla" experience, you're probably...

Re: AD&D (1e or 2e) Framework

Could you upload one of your characters for us to look at? Our campaign has made a number of changes to the framework and uses it with 1.8.4.

Re: Greyhawk calendar FW

Thanks, Full Bleed. I've added the images to the map and redone the Time and Temperature macro to use your images for Celene! It's here: https://github.com/eCyclops/Greyhawk/bl ... 1-21.rpmap

Re: Greyhawk calendar FW

Okay, I haven't dug through that version, since I've made a lot of changes (including using the built-in function for mod instead of "mod") so I uploaded the current version from my campaign. I tested it three times, and it's working. Calendar will print the calendar to chat, and "Time and Temperatu...

Greyhawk calendar FW

This is a map containing two library tokens with macros for time tracking and such for World of Greyhawk campaigns. (It's explicitly 1E, but may be suitable for use with a 2E or later campaign.)

I intend to expand it in time with additional functionality.
