Re: Two-Weapon Fighting Multiplication
Wouldn't it be easier to change the weapons so the 2h, 1h, oh, light and such be changed during the attack? This way you would not need to code multiples? You could just have a JSON that can be read and dictates what properties could be set by the player? i.e. light weapon could not be 2h so this w...

Two-Weapon Fighting Multiplication
I'm making sure I understand the framework correctly. Without knowing how the character will use a weapon, if it is a 2-hand weapon, it will have one solitary entry in the weapons list. However, if it is a 1 handed melee weapon, to cover your bases (in automatic generation), you'd need 5 entries: Pr...

Re: HP Bar appearance
I am importing my tokens and the HP bar does not appear at all by default. ( m ) What button do I need to press to make the HP bar appear? I usually hit the FullHP button that belongs to the GM from the Campaign panel; that turns on the hp bar. But anything that changes the value of the HP property...

HP Bar appearance
I am importing my tokens and the HP bar does not appear at all by default. ( m ) What button do I need to press to make the HP bar appear? Pressing the damage button does not do the trick. If I create a token from scratch or attempt to convert a stat block, it works. But I already have the HP values...

Re: Ayronis' Rise of the Runelords
I have a campaign file with Burnt Offerings with somewhat Pathfinder RPG updates on the Monster Manual monsters. I also have a couple maps of the second book, but I didn't reset the starting positions of the monsters.
PM me if you're interested in a link to the file.

Re: How to represent a 10' grid?
I have a different solution: I tend to redo the maps in Dundjinni.
Although I also mostly do it to get a higher DPI map anyway and perfect pixel grid sizes. I also did a couple chapter's worth of Shackled City that way too.

Re: Maptool Concepts: The Next UI, Look, and Feel
TLDR. I vote for "make it look like the windows manager's current theme". That is, make it look like it fits in with the other applications running on the machine. Be it the "Classic Win 95 theme" or one of the newer windows themse, or the Mac theme on a Mac, or whatever the XWin...

Re: Rarely repeating tiling background textures
Allow any layer to have a tiling image and then you can make a "backgroundBase1" layer with the 100x100 image, "BackgroundBase3" would have the 300x300 tile, "...Base5" layer would have the 500x500 image, etc. Then you have your "working background" layer with...

Re: dedicated computer for maptool/projector setup?
I've had a lot of success not using a "table" setup. I just use my projector on the wall and let everybody lounge around on the couches and move the tokens with a mouse.

My token generators on http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndlive and http://prpg.imarvintpa.com/ work again (1.3b70).

Re: Functionality of "#-GM viw only" in Token properties
I think:
When you hover your cursor over the token, there is a display with some stats and the picture in the bottom left. The attributes with the hash symbol get displayed on the GM's client while when a player mouse-overs the token, it does not appear.

Re: compare/contrast - MT vs DJ
Dundjinni and MapTool are fairly different applications in my view. I use DJ to make maps base layers which I then place into MapTool and populate with mobile stuff. For larger maps this gets to be fairly memory inefficient, but I like the look this generates. Maptool lacks a number of features DJ h...
