Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b82 Campaign Macros r01

Anyone know why my players might be getting, "You do not have permission to call the "switchToken" function" when they run the "HP Change" macro? I can run the macro on their tokens but they can't. MapTool version b86. All the framework tokens are on the hidden layer of...

Re: Wrathgon's rewrite of Plothos' Spell Manager

I'm having a hard time getting SLAs to work. I can add the SLA but I can't figure out how to cast it. Any attempt to cast just returns an error that the token is not a caster.

Re: Wrathgon's rewrite of Plothos' Spell Manager

I got the same thing when I was using .b63 of MapTool. I upgraded to the most recent build of MapTool and it worked fine.

Re: Wrathgon's rewrite of Plothos' Spell Manager

There doesn't seem to be any way to add a domain for a Pathfinder druid. Am I just missing it or is that functionality not in yet?

Re: Randomizing HPs (syncing HP and HPmax)

Yeah, I ended up doing a separate macro which actually works out for the best, I think. That way, I can apply it when I want to (like when creating a lot of duplicate tokens) but not on ALL instances of a new token (like a specific NPC, for example). It's a little kludgey, but it works. =o)

Randomizing HPs (syncing HP and HPmax)

I'm having some trouble figuring out an effective way to randomize HPs for several instances of an otherwise identical token. For example, say I've got 6 boars, each possessing 2d8+9 HPs. A token created from a statblock (via Imper1um's conversion macro) might read "hp 18 (2d8+9)" which is...

Updated to b76 and all is good. Looks like it's incompatible with b63.

Re: [ADDON] [WIP] Rewrite of Statblock2Token Macro

I am unable to put the Lib_Statblock2token.rptok into a map within MapTool. If I drag and drop from the desktop, it never shows up in MapTool. If I try adding it to a library folder and dragging from within MapTool onto a map, I get a java error: com.thoughtworks.xstream.converters.ConversionExcepti...

Roll Table Value

In 1.3.b63, is there a way to get MapTool to roll a variable table value? For example, say I have a table, "wanderingForest" and range 1-4 on that table has a value of "1d6 bandits". Can I get it to output "5 bandits" instead of outputting "1d6 bandits"? I've ...

Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b63 Campaign Macros r05

I noticed that the HPDying macro follows the standard 3.5 method even if the campaign is set to Pathfinder. The PF rules for dying are a little different: Stable Characters and Recovery On the character's next turn, after being reduced to negative hit points (but not dead), and on all subsequent tur...

Re: Textured Fog Disappears

Aliasmask, I'm not clear on your response so I'll try to explain in more detail what I'm doing. I have two images; let's call them Terrain and ObscuredTerrain. ⋅ Right-click on Terrain in the Map Explorer window and select New Map ⋅ From the new map window, click Fog > Texture an...

Textured Fog Disappears

Hey all, I'm running 1.3.b63 and whenever I create a map using textured fog it works great right up until I start a server. When players view that map, they don't see the textured fog, they just see the standard black fog. And sure enough, when I go look at that map, all that's there is the standard...

Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b63 Campaign Macros r05

Is there any way to apply a bonus or penalty to a character's CMD or CMB? If, for example, a character has a trait, feat, item, etc. that grants a +1 bonus to CMD, there does not appear to be any way to apply that. The campaign properties do not include a CMD or CMB property - the value gets calcula...

Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b63 Campaign Macros r05

There's not much to it, is there? Yeah, that's what I thought, too. "Hey, this'll be easy..." It sucked. The problem was that the damage wasn't calculated as a discrete integer variable, but rather as an on-the-fly roll integrated into the text string. That made it really hard to referenc...
