Re: Copying/Importing maps from different campaigns (HOW TO)

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but this is a great topic. I must say that I agree with Palmer's points, especially about campaign merging. Unless there is a fundamental change in the way maptools works, maps are viewed as "maps". Elevating them to the status of 'campaign' and requiring t...

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities

Is it possible that there are different default stack sizes on the windows machine vs the linux machine? Try starting the jar with the java stack size set higher: -Xss4M That's should allocate 4M to the stack size which is more than likely enough, but if not, change the number to 8. You might also ...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Development Build 50

I have noticed an issue that only appears in Linux. I am trying to use the 4e Interactive sheet presented in the user creations forum. Here is the link http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6596. Here is the problem. When I click on certain links in the sheet, I get no response. No error...

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities

I seem to be having trouble running this in Linux. Does anyone else run this on Linux? On the main sheet there are several links that do nothing when I click on them; hit points, magic items, languages, experience, and base speed. Other links work fine like like name, skill, action point, and saving...

Re: Layoffs at WotC

I just poured over Hasbro's most recent SEC filing. WoTC is just part of a huge company. I was surprised to see that the games section of that company didn't see a huge surge with the release of 4e. I don't think that means that 4e is not a big success, it just means that those millions can disappea...

Re: Layoffs at WotC

I don't know why they did the layoffs. I have not really followed it. However, I could see potential reasons... They could have fore-casted revenues for D&DI that did not materialize, exec's could be disgusted with the slipping D&DI release dates, Hasbro could have ordered x number of heads ...

Re: Warhammer Novels..any good?

I have not read any Warhammer 40k novels. However, I have read a few Warhammer books. One thing that stands out is the blood and gore. It is definitely much darker than the standard D&D forgotten realms type stuff. it reminds me on when I first saw Maximum Overdrive; you fully expect the camera ...

* Red ?. Game-time image changes are not propagated. I second the Red ?. It has been a bug since the first game I played in MT and is the singular most annoying bug for me personally. I seem to recall that copying macro's between two tokens is kind of buggy, but I will have to get the details on th...

I've spotted a bug. Type any message, ending with a smilie, such as press enter. watch all text except the smilie picture vanish. There's a blank space before the smilie, where the text used to be. Ouch. Good catch Yeah, it actually zaps anything prior to the smiley... you can have text after the s...
