Maptools has converted me

Dagnabit! I can't tell you how many times I have been browsing and want to scroll the picture and what do I do? I freaking right click and try to move the picture... This didn't happen before maptools (sigh) ohh well... Guess we'll just have to change the internet...

Found an issue with the new bars tab... The colors for the two tone version appear to default to black on black. You will note in my screenie that I have a green on black two tone and it defaulted to black when I went back to look at it. The first time I wasn't paying attention, so when I changed th...

Yes. I checked and it is 16megs... I will try to decrease the size by reviewing the objects and the such, but it will never get down to 2mg. I will host it else where then... I will post a note when I get that straightened out...

I am building the maps 100% in Maptools. I have a huge repository of objects that are available at various places and I am just using the drawing tools and objects that are available. These are some of the best 100% in-maptools maps I've seen yet. How big are these campaign files? Do you have somew...

Why do you not have the Beta rules yet? Here is the link http://paizo.com/store/paizo/pathfinder/pathfinderRPG/v5748btpy84o0 Heh, cool! You know.. I guess it has been a while since I looked at it... I seem to recall now they were going to release the print version at Gen Con... For some reason it d...

I can understand creating a few custom maps that are not included in the module but why are you recreating the entire Fishery map? I just copied the map out of the module then uploaded it into maptools. I was able to get the grid to almost perfectly match as well. On a side note I am running this m...

While playing last night we the server crashed because the host lost his connection. This was not a big deal because the system saved our state which was fantastic. The problem was that the init panel wasn't saved as well. We were able to recreate the init panel from the chat window rolls, but I won...

I agree completely with Orchards statements. New tools are better, I believe. However, I often find myself on the command line at work and sometimes at home; so I am glad I did take the time to learn vi.

Yeah, beginning academic = piss poor. I have th $1500, but I also have these things called expenses. So, here's a question: how much would you expect prices to fall for this kind of stuff in the next 6 months or a year? How much will that Lenovo run one then? Inexpensive laptops have stayed in the ...

Personally, I despise Gateway. They hosed a company that I used to work for and I swore never to purchase anything from them... And I haven't. I currently own a toshiba laptop and an asus laptop. Both have been very reliable. The toshiba laptop was very inexpensive and has been a great laptop. I had...

Macro Editor

There has been a ton of talk about macro's but one thing I would love to see is a macro editor. When I work on macro's I usually type them up in gedit and paste them into my token. Then I have to run them in MT to see if they work. It would be really cool if MT had some type of editor (or at least m...

I think that basic combat should stay in the macro's. I think when we get a full scripting language that macros should be focused on making the common stuff easy to do. I would like to see control of the players elements in the initpanel in macro's. When my turn is done, I want to be able to tell t...

It's getting very close. I think the paladin powers, feats, & magic armor are still missing, but everything else is done. Including the code to add power macros to the tokens automatically. Who is working on the Paladin powers? Does it need a push? Man, with your wicked scripts it should only t...

My biggest concern with Macro's is that it will become it's own scripting language (I know we are already there). I don't want that. That is the primary reason I am excited about adding a scripting language because we will have something standard. That said, I don't want to lose what macro stuff we ...
