Re: Noobish macro questions
Can I change the color of text mid command. So the result would be something like Attack 1d20 Damage 2d6 ? Yep. You can use HTML to format text, so for example: <span style="color:red">Attack 1d20</span> <span style="color:blue">Damage 2d6</span> When using the multiple rollings...

knizia.fan wrote a great post breaking down an eval() statement and showing how it works. (Scroll down to the second half of the post.)

Or Linux, or anywhere else that Java runs. That kind of breaks the whole cross-platform premise of Java. Well, not really. You (the developer) tell Java, "go store this data somewhere appropriate", and Java does so, whether that place is the registry, the user's home directory, or somewhe...

People seem to have a hate on Python. I don't get it, but whatever. Personally, I'm not really married to the idea of any particular language, but really to the idea of a multiple support and a couple different styles rather than all C-style languages. Well, I don't hate Python, I just don't see wh...

Javascript, sure. This one seems pretty set already. As for other languages, Lua is a fine language, and I love Perl, but neither would be my first choice for this particular situation. Ruby is fantastic and I would love to see it included. Heck, I'd be willing to work on the integration once I have...

Can someone give me an example of what exactly I should type into the weapon damage property to make the totals tabulate correctly? {1d6} I am also struggling to figure out what it is that makes the macro show the complete components of a roll... I see the expanded form being posted in screenshots ...

Re: Newbie question - Rolls
In b41, the roll information has been moved into a tooltip; hover over the result and it should show you the full expansion. To get the old behavior, use [e: 1d20] ("e" for "expanded"). There are a number of other options as well; see here for the full list.
