I thought that this was broke (due to the lag issue) and was to be fixed in B88?

Re: OK here's another one about my character sheet.

Thanks CIF I made the change but no luck. I'm going to go back through my character sheet code and see if I can spot anything incriminating.

OK here's another one about my character sheet.

In my character sheet macro I have a macrolink that calls an edit abilities macro. At the end of the eidt macro I calls the character sheet again(hopefully to update the sheet with any changes. problem is that it is not updating or recalling the sheet, not sure how to tell which. Here is the call fr...

what would be the process for a DM input on a skill check

I have a skill check macro and I would like to be able to have the DM be able to add a penalty or bonus to the check prior to the display in chat. What would be the process that?

hmm when I tried your bit of code I got a message in chat saying Lib:token was not found, so I would think that means it is clickable.

Re: Character sheet opens for anyone why?

For some reason it still allows a player to look at other players character sheets. Maybe the best is to just get rid of the onChangeSelection

Re: Character sheet opens for anyone why?

hmm, I see your right about the logic but not so sure about the conditions to check for. [H: abort( if(!isOwner() || !isGM() || isNPC() || isOwnedByAll(),1,0))] Basically I want the DM and the owner of the token to run the macro so I put negative for isOwner and isGM but it still lets anyone run it.

I would have thought that the if statement looking for ownership would have aborted the macro before it got to the switchtoken statement.

Character sheet opens for anyone why?

I have this line in my character sheet macro in order to keep other players from opening each others charactersheet but once opened it updates to any token selected. [h,if(!isGM() && isNPC(token) && !isOwner()):abort(0)] Here is the whole code because I'm thinking it is probably the ...

Re: Trying to set a json object in a property

I managed to get it to work by changing the last line. Here is the new code. [h: WeaponList = listSort(json.fields(Weapons),"A+")] <!-- Present an input to select a Weapon to edit, or to add a new Weapon --> [h:status=input( "whichWeapon|"+WeaponList+"|Choose a Weapon to Equ...

Re: Trying to set a json object in a property

Thanks for the response but I get this error on both pieces of code.

Code: Select all

Argument number 2 to function "listGet()" must be type "BigDecimal", but was passed "BattleAxe" of type "String".

Re: Can a countdown marco be coded in Maptool?

How about an egg timer and an open mic? Depending on how much time you are giving them it may not be practical. I'm not sure of the details but it would have to be done with loops and I believe the problem lays in that there is a limit to how many iterations a loop can run and the time to run throug...
