Re: Is Maptools Dead?
So...I've noticed a distinct lack of updates or new versions for maptool, is there anything I can do to help speed things up perhaps? username seems quite lonely working on the next MapTool version and is looking for testers. I didn't have enough time to really help him in any way by now, but may b...

Re: RPTools "next" Git Repository
Anyway, for those willing to check out git repos: * grid layer (relatively) complete * image layer can move stuff around Next on list is: * grid movement Actually, there is so much on that list, I wonder why I keep at it. I'm not sure to get it right: are the two first points the only ones to be te...

I don't have time right now to give it a serious thought, but I'll surely come back later
Thank you very much for your work.

Re: Is Maptool still being supported and developed?
So, MOTE supports Macroscript, but is there a more native language to use, like javascript? To be fair, few people advocated for a 1.3 branch to abandon Macroscript. I don't think aliasmask was asking to get rid of MT script, but to have access to JS as an alternate language. I'd be glad to have it...

Re: Help requested with json array
I was thinking of hidden loops: json.unique and json.count should rely on inner loops to perform their tasks. And both on the full size array.

Beware that, compared to aliasmask's solutions, yours and bubblobill's are likely to be performance hogs.

Re: Using MapTool on a Mac OSX machine
Ok, CONTROL+click not working on a Mac is clearly not normal. I did quite an extended search in my Mac's preferences and help and didn't find a way to disable it. Then I searched on the net and it's clearly hard coded into the system. So your friend's Mac has a problem. One issue I found on MacRumor...

Could you add a little more information around what r: and t: actually do in terms of their use? Just read this: ⋅ Macros:Roll:types ⋅ Macros:Roll:output ⋅ and you really need to start reading Introduction to Macro Writing and the other wiki macro tutorials Wolph lin...

Re: Using MapTool on a Mac OSX machine
Sorry but I was wrong. It's been so long that I use a two buttons mouse that I forgot the right key to be used
It's CTRL+click. You're right in saying CMD+click is bringing huge problems. I never used it before, but have similar problems as yours on a regular b89.

Re: Using MapTool on a Mac OSX machine
I'm only using MT on Mac. RightMouse is not encouraged (but supported) .. so on laptop you might have to use a modifier key (i think its ALT, but I would have to test it) If your mouse only has one button, use CMD+click. On Apple's touch pads you use two fingers click to get the right click. Sorry ...

Re: Chat Log?
I didn't find the chatlog autosave file, but you can save with File>Save Messages History (might not be the exact wording as my locale is french).

Re: [b89] Differing outputs
You just did hit the infamous smilies bug Your code isn't the real culprit. Just go in the File->Preferences->Interaction tab->Chat section->Insert Smilies and uncheck it. The parser is searching your code for smilies and tries to translate whatever looks like one Edit: ninjad by wolph
