There's some discussion going on about some possible "first steps" towards 1.4, but it's easily 4-6 months into the future and quite probably much further than that. We have a HUGE list of bugs that should be fixed in 1.3 and there are only so much developer time to go around. I'm glad ha...

Which means I've got to invest in a thorough learning of the present macro language if I want to set up my framework before next year. :cry:

Thanks for the quick answers. You must be right for the chat problem. It must come from a HTML processing. I'm ashamed to say the error message from the macro had nothing to do with a missing "<". I was confused by the fact it is never displayed in the chat frame, even in an error message....

Not sure if it's a bug or a misunderstanding on my part, because this is weird ! My computer runs on MacOS X 10.6 The problem is : Whether in chat text or macro text, MapTool ignores the "<" characters and sometimes the following characters. I noticed it when I got an error report on an IF...
