Re: Fast, flexible D&D4e monster creation in MapTool

Yeah, I realized that after I posted it. I have another version that's almost done... but it requires changing some of your campaign properties.

Re: Fast, flexible D&D4e monster creation in MapTool

Create a campaign macro, label it Edit Monster. Make sure that both Auto Execute and Apply to Selected Tokens are checked. Now all you have to do is target the token and enter the numbers and such through an input window that pops up. No need to fiddle around with editing the token directly. If you'...

Re: Online Dungeon Painter

In the add token window, there's a size option. It defaults to a 32 px grid and changing that does NOT change the size of the tokens unfortunately. So you'd have to make all your own tokens if you wanted something else. It's real benefit is for play-by-post games which means the web based part of it...

http://4e.orokos.com/roll/

Can be used to roll more than just dice for D&D. Keeps a public viewable history of the rolls too.

Re: Google +

Google Hangouts might be better than skype and other voice chat solutions for gaming. I might actually have to get a webcam and maybe use it lol.

Re: Visual Targeting System

You could use a halo for the targeter and match it with the color of the target. This isn't something I would use for my own system, but I can see others finding use out of it.

Re: Forum Div Widths

I maximize the browser because it makes it easier to read the tab names at the top of the browser when I have a dozen tabs running. I also look at a lot of very large images which requires the browser to be maximized as well. And no, not those kind of images. Maps and backgrounds and such. There's n...

Re: Forum Div Widths

For the same reason deadtree newspapers print in columns instead of one big story that stretches the width of the page. It allows you to structure the content to be easily read without eye or neck strain. If you have your browser maximized on a 24" wide monitor, the liquid designs will stretch ...

Re: Forum Div Widths

I suggest using SE Square Left. It's clean and well laid out and easy to read even on a 24" widescreen monitor.

Re: Forum Div Widths

Eh. Fixed width is necessary these days with modern monitors and much higher resolutions. Hrm, I bet there's already a fixed width theme on here. If not, I could look for one and link it to be added. I just don't like having to resize my browser just to be able to comfortable read forum threads.
