Re: How do I place an image for a macro button's tooltip

Is there a command that drops table images onto a map?

Re: How do I place an image for a macro button's tooltip

Curious: is there a built in MT command that can retrieve the dimensions (pixel width & height) of my images that I have stored in tables?

How do I place an image for a macro button's tooltip

I'd like to create a decent tooltip for my macro buttons using HTML. Is it possible to have an image from a table inside this tooltip. Here's the HTML code: . <html> . . <div width=400> . . . <table width='100%'> . . . . <tr> . . . . . <td style='padding:0px 0px; 'align='left'...

Re: Help needed for non functioning link

Spaces in my links work fine, provided they are in a link that is displayed textually. However, if I want to display the same link with an image, then the link doesn't work. Go figure? I need to hard-code my links in huge cached HTML pages. Any image links in these pages which have token ids become ...

Re: Help needed for non functioning link

Unfortunately I have to come back to this. My problem is that I have hard-coded the token's ID in the link. However, I've noticed that the token's actual ID could change when moved to other campaign files/maps etc. Which leaves me with no other option other then using (passing) the token's name inst...

Re: Using eval to retrieve info from an object

I know that. However in this case I need to evaluate it dynamically. I was just detailing the crux of the issue, the rest is far too lengthy.

Using eval to retrieve info from an object

I need to dynamically pass a formula that involves "json.get(Object, Field)" to eval. How do I it? Example: I need to know what level of Wizard the token is. eval ('json.get({"Barbarian":0,"Bard":0,"Cleric":0,"Druid":1,"Fighter":0,"Mon...

Re: TextMate Bundle - Macro Syntax Highlight and Code Comple

Wow. This looks like a lifesaver. However, I'm totally new to TextMate and I'm having trouble with installation. I downloaded TextMate and dragged it over to my applications folder. I created the ~Library.../Avian/Bundles folder (it does not exist) and dropped the MapTool.tmbundle file into it. It d...

The joy of a never ending loop

By mistake, I placed a call to a macro that constantly asks me to enter a value for a variable. Unfortunately, that macro is called in the onCampaignLoad macro. As such I keep on getting this pop-up message box asking for a value, and no matter what I type or not type, the pop-up doesn't go away. Is...

Re: MapTool 1.4.0.0 Build

As a Mac user, I would really appreciate if the built-in Java version that comes with Maptool would change to 8 instead of the old version (Java 6). I still have no idea how to redirect Maptool to Java 8 that is installed in my Applications folder.

How do get Maptool to use Java 8 on the latest Mac OS 10.11?

I recently installed OS El Capitan on my Mac (version 10.11). I also installed the latest version of Java 8 (at the default folder location). I would like to get Maptool (b1.3 v91) to run this new Java version instead of the the built-in Java 6 (1.6) version. Can someone please help me with concise ...

Re: Help needed for non functioning link

I worked it out. Apparently you cannot use the token name as the parameter. You have to use the token id. When I did that everything came right (even the arguments passed). Go figure.

Thanks for the response.

Help needed for non functioning link

This one is stumping me: I have a link displayed as an HTML image. The link calls a macro called [email protected]:Controls and passes the calling Token ("Marco Polo" in this example) as it's parameter. Here is what the link is (when I print it using the broadcast(Link) command for debugging purpo...
