Re: Google Android Discussion

So let me ask, do all these smart phones suck with battery life? At first I thought the Eris was decent with power but now, I am noticing I am almost dead at around 6pm. There is no question, I HAVE to charge this thing twice in a 24 hour period or I am doomed. That was my complaint with the Droid ...

Re: Google Android Discussion

for those interested... the Hero has a built in MS Exchange server app, as far as i can tell, tho i don't have any to attempt to set it up on... But that doesn't support tasks with details like MS Mobile does. MS Mobile sucks as a smartphone, but if your primary need is to carry around and wireless...

Re: Google Android Discussion

And Windows Mobile 7 was just introduced. It's basically Zune HD on a phone, but a bit more.

Re: Google Android Discussion

Whatever phone you get, make sure it's an HTC phone. They make top notch quality smartphones.

I've heard good things about the HTC Touch Pro2.

Re: Google Android Discussion

To be honest, dorpond, if you're dependent on a Microsoft Exchange environment, Windows Mobile can't be beat. I had a Windows Mobile device with my previous employer who ran a full Microsoft shop, and it was awesome. Even using OneNote on the device was a blessing. By the way, if you're not using th...

TerrainlinX Model Planner

Has anyone checked out TerrainlinX Model Planner from WorldWorks Games? It allows for exporting of maps, but I wonder if they are usable in MapTool.

Re: Web Version of Maptools

It would be a great substitute for "projector view" as you put the browser on the second display and set it to full screen mode (F11).

Re: Google Android Discussion

The one thing I think is lacking from the Android OS... a 3D dice roller like Dicenomicon!

Technically, you don't have to set initiative values. Just drag and drop them in the order they need to be.

Re: MapTool Gadget for Google Wave

In Google Wave, there's an advantage to parsing out the features as different extensions. For example, having a separate dice roller designed and developed for a specific game system will allow for easier play than having a dice roller that's trying to accommodate many game systems. Rumble and I hav...

Re: Google Maps in MapTool

Feature request: Integrate Maptool with Google Maps. I was about to suggest this very same thing based on my use of Google Maps for a campaign I'm running. My campaign takes place in Atlanta, GA, and I'm using a shared custom Google Map to note important places and areas related to the game. During...

Re: The future of VBL ?

So wait... Does this mean that if this is adopted, we'd be able to reveal while dragging the token?

Seriously, can we make this priority with no other features in development, and make it the first stable release for 1.4?
