Re: Mouse zooming issues in Windows 7

Does it only zoom in one direction? I had that issue with Windows 7 and the Intellimouse I have - my solution (found on these boards) was to roll back the driver to the basic HID-Compliant Optical Mouse (or whatever it's called...I can't remember the exact wording). In short, Java apparently doesn'...

Mouse zooming issues in Windows 7

I'm running Windows 7 RC and I've been having zooming issues via the mouse scroll wheel since I installed it. I'm using a MS Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 with the Windows 7 IntelliPoint software. (I notice the scrolling issue twhirl, too.)

Any ideas on what the issue might be or how I can fix it?

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework

You set the hold status the way you always have, either with a button on the campaign macro window or via character sheet. The things that show up are the things have have an init card drawn. The players don't use this, its for the GMs. The players see the init order printed in chat when the 'Next'...

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework

Here's an image of the Init Control frame. It has a 'Next' Button so you can cycle through the initiatives. You can also remove folks from the init by selecting the radio button and hitting the delete button. When you get to the end of the round it automatically draws cards for all the old inits th...

Re: Skype Vesus Vent?

Not that I have any say, but personally, the only way I would endorse such a feature would be after the headless server option and in particular when/if Trevor is able to set up a hosting server setup(for which of course you would have to pay a small subscription fee). Bottom line, one server eatin...

Ah! I'm not sure I understand, but I probably don't need to. Thanks for finding it for me! Sorry about that. We decided to not flood our articles with short blurbs like that and instead move that type of stuff to either tweets or discussions in the Google Group. I should have redirected the post ra...

Also, an article about how MapTool speeds up prepping and running face-to-face games.

Re: Skype Vesus Vent?

True, but setting up a server and hosting it isn't for everyone. For $3 a month, 12 users, and a dedicated server address, you might as well say it's free. You run a program and forward one port... If you don't know how to forward a port after consulting your manual you have bigger issues. Ignoring...

Re: Skype Vesus Vent?

It's free to use vent with up to 8 people (I believe) so there's no need to pay for a service, unless you want to avoid clashes in the use of your upload bandwidth. One option here is for one of the players to host the server. Then the GM's computer can handle uploading the files and one of the pla...
