Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

Problem: I cannot get close bursts to calculate correctly. It will target creatures that are 3 below, above, or to the right/left, but it will not get the creature if it is 1 off from there or at the diagonals. Essentially: I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Blue i...

Too much of a daunting task while I develop my work portfolio and my friends aren't serious enough about starting another campaign so no motivation. :(

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

One last thing - if you want to try converting from Version 5 to the "Slim" framework, here's a macro that should convert tokens from the heavier framework to the lighter. Use caution - it's one way, destructive editing - you won't get your old token back so don't save over it! <3 <3 <3 <...

Re: [4E] An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic F

The thing is, conditions are not simple. They're very, very annoyingly complicated. There's a big difference between what's there now, and a full tracking engine. Ya I'm just looking for at least the basic tracking - powers that knock prone, ongoing dmg, etc. If you feel up to it an overview of how...

Re: [4E] An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic F

Ya I knew that was going to come off poorly. As I said before I'm very grateful for your work. Seemingly in my mind it wouldn't be too complicated to port over the dmg/conditions. dmg is aleady there and if conditions are simple they should be simple to code. If you're worried about the performance ...

Re: [4E] An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic F

In order of priority to help you catalog fixes: ⋅ Damage auto applying (it seems to work, but you mention it doesn't earlier) ⋅ Auto Condition Tracking - like V5 ⋅ Hovering over atk/dmg are not as detailed as they are in v5. The breakdown on each type is very helpful. &...

Re: [4E] An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic F

Well, personally I think Slim is better than V5 in all respects. I agree. I just think it's missing some functionality. Slim tries to calculate the defenses where it would be simpler and easier(IE: Slim) for the user to enter it directly. The skill system is also less intuitive, but worst case if I...

Re: [4E] An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic F

Rumble: I know you're bored of development, but what would it take for you to continue development? I'd happily donate if I could see slim and V5 merged in someway - preferably in your new system of slim as it's better designed and you seem to prefer it. If it is designed properly it could be contin...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

There is a concern of slowing it down. Looking briefly at V5(this framework)'s armor system it seems to have a lot of macros. Whereas Rumble's Slim framework seemingly has much less for the same functionality PLUS other slots. I would look into that. I made a slight UI change in V5 UI that I'm modif...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

Bump. Still cannot get a power that isn't a leader power to heal. Trying to use a personal heal power.

Also "Recharge Powers (Force Recharge)" under management is not working. Not as big of an issue, but would be nice to figure out why.

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

I'm having issues with Troublesome Aid of Caiphon It reads: "In addition to the normal number of hit points you regain, you regain a number of hit points equal to your healing surge value. However, until the end of the encounter, you die after failing your second, rather than third, death savin...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

@Kyuss: I made some UI updates if your friend wants to incorporate those. Combined the ability/skill check as you see in slim framework, rearranged buttons, resized, fixed the extra adding of improvised attack and second wind, etc. It's 2 posts up. I'd like to see the simpler UI used the future. For...

Re: [Rumble 5.1.1] Weapon Enhancement Bonus added to all pow

Ya there doesn't seem to be any way to attach a "racial" tag to it to modify it. The halflevel trick works though. You could also add a generic implement (no enhancement) and set it to an implement attack - that would fix it. It seems Rumble edited it so implements got lvl added in their c...

Re: [Rumble 5.1.1] Weapon Enhancement Bonus added to all pow

Ya I see a similar issue. I left it on main hand and it didn't add weapon enhancement. But it is not adding half-level.

I can look into this more later tonight.

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

Ah. Thanks Longshot. I didn't notice that detailed view. imo for armor/other gear it would be much easier to merge DN's char sheet or Slim's armor system. I haven't look at Slim too much yet. Based on Rumble no longer developing the safer bet is DN's char sheet as it will continually be updated. It ...
