json obect vs array

I am still struggling with jsons. I believe this is a json object {"Sydious":{"pRoll":4},"Tester_01":{"pRoll":1},"Tester_02":{"pRoll":4},"Tester_03":{"pRoll":5}} When I want to use json.sort, it needs to be a json array....

macroLink, getLibProperty, and timing

So I am trying to create a "turn" control system using macroLink. Basically I am using a Lib:Token with a property called curPlayer. (1 - 4) I have one macro that starts the "turn" and sets curPlayer to 1 and sends a macrolink to the 1st player in a list of conected players. This...

Re: Create Tokens

Lots to absorb......

One question: What makes this diffrent then normal macros updating? Is it because it is a UDF and that subverts the timeing issue somehow? (Maybe it's my amature status as a programer that makes me not understand...)

Re: Create Tokens

Ok. I was hoping that fireing the second macro would allow for updatingt since it wasn't "in" the macro but a second macro. Wishful thinking I guess.

Re: Unwanted Chat output.

In no way do I purport to be a macro expert, but perhaps THIS: <form bgcolor = "black" action="[ r : processorLink]" method = "json">  is your problem??? That would not allow the macro to fire. I relize now that the form action is a macrolink. Once I have changed the &...

Re: Create Tokens

So now that I have progressed through this quest called Maptool, I have used copyToken a bit now. As stated above, updating the properties on the token using copyToken is limited. I am wondering if the following is normal behavior, or am I doing something wrong. I have a macro that copies a token, t...

Re: Unwanted Chat output.

Since you have all output hidden h and only empty lines shouldnt cause a chat output, I dont see the fault in the processor macro. It could be something in the called macros, but I dont know what to look for (other than broadcast calls - what you'd know). If you really want to suppress all output y...

Re: Unwanted Chat output.

Its a bit cryptic but I believe you're looking for html comments. A macro doesnt contain "real" output like text or [r: something] but does produce an empty line of chat, right? Html comments are output - only hidden by the html engine. The two macros I think I have it narrowed down to do...

Does anyone have any tips on finding where in a macro its sending output to the chatwindow without any values?

I get a entry to the chat window from my home machine when i use the macro. Is there something I should look for?

Re: Checking for Duplicate Values in JSON

I would drop the json object and make it an array... Then you can use json.unique . If I am reading that right, json.unique will return an array that doesn't contain the duplicate value. I am not looking to remove the duplicate, I am looking to just identify there are duplicates to trigger a "...

Checking for Duplicate Values in JSON

Is there an easy way to check for duplicate values in a Json? in this example: {"Char1":"Player_1","Char2":"Player_1","Char3":"Player_3","Char4":"Player_4"} Char1 and Char 2 both have the same value. Any pointers on how ...
