Re: jason.sort

json.shuffle says it works with json arrays, doesn't mention any compatibility with objects (which is what you're using). ok... now I am really confused. When I use... [h: roomList = getLibProperty("rooms", "Lib:DQ")] [h: roomNameList = json.fields(roomList)] I get a list RC_1, ...

json.sort

I'm confused as to why my macro won't work. Just trying to shuffle a Json. I store a json in a LibProp "rooms" I am using the following macro: [h:roomList = getLibProperty("rooms", "Lib:DQ")] [h: newList = json.shuffle(roomList)] [r:roomNameList = json.fields(newList)] ...

Rotating Images on a Form

Is it possible to rotate an image on a form? or do you need to have the original image file rotated to display that?

If I display a image on the form, can I display it with 4 different rotations or do I need to have 4 images - one for each rotation i want to display?

Player vs GM frames

So I haven't had a lot of opertunity to use Maptool with others online. I experimented once with a friend for 10 mins, but I didn't know what I was doing at all. Hehe. Now I have been working on this project for a few weeks now, and have some neat frames and macros built. I started thinking of how t...

Delays or Timers

Is it possible to make a timer or delay something from happening X amount of time after a macro is fired?

So like if I press a button, 5 seconds later - another macro fires (or same macro continues).

Is that possible? (If it is how would I go about doing that?)

Re: Suggestions needed on

Well I finally solved my issue after all these days. I took a break from that macro for a day and this morning figured out that when I was setting the possible direction of travel...I was accessing the original passageway list and not the new passageway list. Finally success!!!! After all this time ...

Re: Player specific Dialog

Short answer is yes. But it is tricky, complicated and full of pitfalls. There is a recent thread about how to do a poll that demonstrates how to send dialogs to all players and getting the answers back. Link Limiting this to some players is a simple task. Probably I would use broadcast to send the...

Re: Suggestions needed on

Are you dynamically creating the tiles as the player moves? Because, if you're not, you can use VBL to block them from moving in an invalid direction. Instead of using a dialog, you can just have the player move where he wants to go. Any events that may happen can be handled with onTokenMove macro....
