Do people still use UPNP considering the big security vulnerabilities with it?

Re: Odd glitch with Maptool

Alright, I found a solution to this issue. Not THE solution. Essentially someone had similar graphical artifacts switching form Java 7 to Java 8 on an unrelated app. By setting J2D_D3D to false they were able to fix it. I had my friend try it and has not had the issue since. It seems a bug in Java w...

Separate OOC Chat Window/Channel

It doesn't need to necessarily be "OOC Only" but having chat "Channels" or "Rooms" that can blink when new chatter comes in and make sounds too would be great. Ideally it can help segregate group chats where groups of people might need to talk where another group can't ...

Re: So Much Memory Usage

Clicking that seems to help. Didn't know you could do that. I'll have to get JDK on this box and see what's up.

So Much Memory Usage

An image that should be 100 megs in ram is taking 500 megs in maptool. I see stuff like this everywhere. Images seem to take way more RAM than you'd expect width x height x BPP to take. What's going on?

Re: Sound Tokens - Got it working, but needs a little work

Hi, I'm Definately interested. I'm also curious how your work relates to this : http://forums.rptools.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24085 Looks like he is using a script functionality to download sound from a webserver and play locally. My modification is that sound becomes distributed like tokens (G...

Re: Sound Tokens - Got it working, but needs a little work

The GM does play for people. When you hit play, it plays for everyone. Stop does a stop for everyone.

There'll be enhancements once I get these two issues fixed then I can put it out for people.

Sound Tokens - Got it working, but needs a little work

Maptool Music Resource Library! Not sure if people are interested in this, but I got maptool resource folders for midi and mp3 files so players/GMs can drag sounds onto the map and play them for everyone. If people are interested I'll post it here when I fix two issues. 1) The Java I'm using for MP...

Does this compile in new Eclipse IDE + Java 7?

Trying to get maptools to compile. I'm not a Java expert (C++ expert here) but I'm getting this issue trying to run the build:

Unrecognized option: -Xdock:name=MapTool

I know it used to be setup for Java 6, was wondering if 7 was out of the picture?
