I thought that the view always started with cell 0,0 in the upper left-hand corner of the window, and zoomed to 1:1. Is that not the case? I always build my maps with that in mind, and it seems to work well for me.

A move here dialogue like that would be great. Something else that might be super useful on that would be if you could specify either a coordinates or a token or object name as a point of reference (like the /goto command).

Re: My Saturday Game Feedback:

[*] - First, if a player tries to move to a spot they already exposed bus not in current exposed vision, thier token goes invisible. Hmm, I thought I had fixed that one. Could you give me simple step by step setup that shows the issue ? Or send me a campaign file ? [*] - Second, if the person with ...

[feature request] Chat command for token speech / macros

The token speech and token macro functions are excellent. A chat command to trigger a canned speech or macro stored in a token would make them even easier to use. something like /tsay [token name] [speech name] and /tmacro [token name] [macro name]. How hard would that be to implement? Later silver

Since the macros and speech functions became available in the recent build, I've been using the macros on info tokens for DM notes (/think blah blah blah) and 'boxed text' (/emit fancy words of description). It's not as fast as a tooltip on mouse hover would be, but it'll shoot your info directly in...

I mean that whether or not a token can be copied is linked to ownership. ie. You can only copy a token that you own. A copied token should probably retain whatever properties (including ownership, notes, etc.) that the original had. And by copy, really I mean the ability to pull a token out of Mapto...

Could token/object copying be linked to the new ownership property?

I was using Maptool for a game today, and ran into a, "need a dungeon, NOW!" situation, so I gave this a shot. Since I had very little prep time, I decided to go about things slightly differently. I drew a great big solid rectangle of Topology. And when I say big, I mean 1000 by 600 squares. Big. I ...

This website has a sound effects archive, cobbled together from many disparate web resources that have "freely distributable" sound effects.

So... Once I find or create a cool texture with which to build my dungeon, how do I go about making it available for use in Maptool?

Thanks for your help

I've been experimenting with the stamper over the past several hours (after reading dalna's thread, actually, heh). This is exactly what I need.

Renaming the stamping tool (maybe to the building tool or the tile tool) might be a good idea.

Thanks

If you could find some way for the tool to make me appear smarter, that'd be great! Seriously, though, I think that most of the stuff that I would want is stuff that you're working on, anyway. Being very much not an artist, of the utmost importance to me is being able to easily bring map tiles into ...

Nevermind. Apparently I am unable to tell the difference between a 1 and a 2. Problem solved by forwarding the port to the correct IP address.

Thanks for your (potential) help.

Could not see your computer from the internet

Whenever I try to start a server, and do the "Test Connection" I get a "Could not see your computer from the internet." I am using Maptool 1.1, on a Windows XP machine. I am connected to the internet via a cable modem, through a Linksys wireless router. I have set up a static ip address, and forward...
