I've been thinking about the monopoly board for a while. I figure the squares should be 80x80. Drawing an approximation of the standard board shouldn't be hard. The cards can either be drawables or large creature sized tokens. If we had a solid overlay (one that covered the card completely) the DM c...

Board Games Anyone?

here's your classic chess and backgammon board for anyone interested. They 'should' automatically be on the grid as the units are in 40x40 pixels. I plan on using these so my players can goof around while waiting for their initiative to come up. You should be able to right click and save the images....

OK. Here are some overlays I'm working on. You should be able to right click these to save them to your 'puter. http://www.silverliningventures.com/RPTroll/humaniodBorderCircl.png http://www.silverliningventures.com/RPTroll/humaniodBorder.png The oval didn't work out quite as well as I'd hoped once ...

Free Counters

Here's a site I used for a lot of my tokens. m The site says they are free but I don't know what that means from a copyright standpoint. Besided the counters, they also have spell areas. While maptool allows for adjustable overlays this has some cool pics that will be nice when the drawables come on...

With my old, slow machine, loading up the entire group of tokens from the monster manual at once is slow and its hard to find what I'm looking for in the list. So on my 'puters I have them seperated by alphabet with another directory structure that seperates them by type. For humanoids, I also have ...

Hmmm, RPTroll, could you flesh out the idea a little bit ? I imagine that when token groups are implemented (move one token, move them all), copying them would also copy all the grouped tokens. Is there something more you are thinking ? Well, here's my no-so-grand scheme for token groups Token grou...

A suggestion on the ability to move tokens from map to map: This could be a feature of token groups (when it is release).

Just a thought.

Welcome to the board chrobry. Since the developers haven't chimed in yet, I'll try to answer your questions. For combining maps I use gimp or some other image editor. I don't think maptool allows for this at present. One thing to remember that the larger your map the more memory you're going to use....

Wait till you see what it'll look like in another 3 months Trevor the Tool Tease. I agree with Biz. This thing had grown a lot during the short time I've used it. You guys are great about digging through the requests for the stuff that actually needs to go in there. Thanks for all your work. By the...

You might consider a weeny panel that has snap to grid and erase toggle buttons like the draw panel has.

And this gets even more interesting with oblong tokens combined with facing. Imagine a semi truck in car wars trying to make that corner. Guess you could change facings at waypoints but that's another post all together. :D
