You can do this, however there can be an issue creating a token and updating its stats inside the same macro.
Please read the wiki article on copyToken paying attention to the note about execLink with deferred execution.

Re: Nesting limits revisited
We have the beginnings of JavaScript which doesn't have the nesting limit but that is still in the early stages of implementation. The next round of development should see that capability grow significantly.
MTSscript still has the 2 deep limitation.

Re: Edit macros with Notepad++
My preference would be to edit the macros on the file system and have MapTool pick up changes, or have a command the refreshes macros from files. That way you can use whatever editor you want: eclipse, notepad++, or VIM - the ultimate code editor.

I'll tell but only if you promise not to tell anyone else.
There's a good chance it will move out of dev/test into prod this weekend. Mums the word.

Re: How to install on a Mac
Are you getting your version from the Download page or trying to launch via the Launch page?
Download Page: http://www.rptools.net/downloadsw/
Launch Page: http://www.rptools.net/launch/
I recommend the Download page. Grab the Mac version and give it a try.
I'm not a Mac person but maybe one of our Mac users will chime in.

Re: Select Map Menu
After buying several dozen Flip Mat PDFs, exporting them to image files, and then importing them all into MapTool (v1.4.0.0 if it matters), I was rather chagrinned to find that the Select Map menu can only display a maximum of 43 maps on a 1920x1080 monitor. Is there any way that the current non-sc...

Re: I just noticed 1.4.1.6 announcement.
We should be rolling it over to 1.4.2 production release soon(tm) that will have all the new functions in it. -- tm per Jamz. He's got me into that habit and now I can't stop. It looks as though we'll have one more dev release though to correct a few small items around iso and token FoW (and the int...
