Re: (Possible feature request) Impersonate on Select?

Forgive my terrible newbie-ness, but I edited a dice-rolling macro I got from elsewhere, and it seems to work. Put this into a campaign macro and set the hot key for f2 or whatever: [h: fail=input( "speech | 0 | Input impersonated speech | TEXT" )] [h: abort(fail)] [r: speech] I'm testing ...

Re: Why don't other game systems succeed like like D&D?

A good deal of it comes from having been first. They reached the saturation point early, and built up the following to that critical mass that ensures continued success. They are the MS Windows of the gaming world. There are other options that people like better for one reason or another, but they w...

Re: Alternate Selections

Feh. Voice chat ruins the immersion when it comes to online roleplaying. That's the biggest reason I don't like it. I don't want to hear some wannabe thespian lisping their way through some roleplaying encounter when they're playing a rough and tumble barbarian. But what if you're freaking awesome ...

Re: Alternate Selections

The Alt/Option Key on a Mac does not send a command to the system. It is used to modify a keystroke. opt-4, for instance produces the ¢ symbol. Ctrl and Cmd are the Mac keys used to send a command to the system.

I use Skype. It is free and supports up to 4+1 users currently (from the last I saw anyway).
Skype is great. The latest version can handle a 10 person conference call.

The new dice rolls look well-formatted, but I am no longer seeing each individual die. Is this optional now? Some systems, like Hero, require you to see each die. Example:
[3d6]
now renders
<<3d6 => 12 => 12>>
instead of
<<3d6 => 3,4,5 => 12>>
