Hmmm, everything unpacked into just one level and there was no library folder. There's only about 20 files (mostly .jars, a couple of .bats and a README).
I'll have another look at the unzipper...
Cheers for the help.

Lost City of Barakus
Hey, Not sure if this is allowed or not but I'll post here and can be shot down if I'm wrong. I'm currently preparing to run the excellent Necro Games module the Lost City of Barakus. I have taken the default maps from the Map Booklet (again from the excellent Product Support line which Necro runs o...

Trouble Starting Zipped Version (v1.2 b21)
Hi, Have been running the web start version no problems. Just downloaded the zipped version with a view to trying that so I could increase memory allocation. I get this error: e:\maptool> java -jar maptool-*.jar Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/rptools/clients...

Textures - Where are they?
Where are the 7 basic textures which are used for unbound maps held? And why can't I automatically use them as textures in MapTool? I have gone and grabbed a few textures from places mentioned on this forum but those ones seem very handy to have and it seems weird that I can auto build an unbound ma...

How To... Opening Doors and Taking The Roof Off... ?
Hey, In Dorpond's excellent demo-casts I have seen him take the roof off a building so that the interior becomes visible then put it back on after the PC moves out of the building. How is this done in Map Tool? Also I have seen him opening doors on a map! How cool? How is that done in Map Tool? Than...

On that subject is there a place I can go to steal other people's simple random encounter maps - like a traditional forest road or mountain pass? You know the sort of thing which we would all use nearly every session....? I could make my own but that has two issues: 1. Time and 2. Ability. I have ne...

Okay, sorry. Found the answer to this question by playing with the software some more. For anyone else with the same question, the answer is that each campaign can have multiple maps (yay!) and to select which one is current you press the windowy icon in the top left corner next to where your curren...

Campaigns and Maps
Possibly a silly question but I've searched the documentation and can't find an answer. What is the difference between a map and a campaign? Can you have multiple maps in one campaign? If so, once you load up a campaign, how do you select from your maps that are available? If there are multiple maps...

Is there a tutorial?
Hey, I'm new here but some of you may recognise me from the DMGenie forums (Hey Azheri, Dorpond , Levitator, etc). I'm looking at Maptool 1.2 and its looking great but the documentation on the web page seems to be still back at 1.0, unless I've simply missed it? Is there any up to date documentation...
