It was actually really easy, since they are a clean 900px each, to just turn on a grid and make a selection snapped to that grid. Easy selection, copy, and paste! many roads to rome... did you come up with a naming convention? Do you know how to run PS batches to automate the resizing to the correc...

Re: Should I Upgrade to Windows 8

Great question. I'll give you my experiences. Win8 is fast. MS claims that the code is 30% faster than Win7. I immediately noticed a huge speed difference. I upgraded my Laptop that was built for Vista and it was getting to that old doggy stage in it's lifecycle - Win8 on it was the best choice - th...

Re: Getting Maptool to work in Windows 8

It sounds like to me your environment variables for Java are not correct for whatever reason. I know MT works fine in Windows 8 since that is what I use.

Re: 1.3.B.86 Bug - Player's PC blue screens of death on conn

Zackteach, Maptool itself isn't causing the BSOD. In all my years, I have never heard of MT causing a BSOD. So taking that out of the equation and taking the computer out of the equation (since this happened on old PC too), that leads me to believe that there could be software on the PC's that is ca...

Re: Gallery Administrator Token Overlays?

Not sure if this helps you at all, but I took the one that you provided above and made it so that you can use it in TokenTool. I haven't tested it, but it should work.

Good Luck!

Re: Gallery Administrator Token Overlays?

This was all I could find. I remember finding RPTools, talking with Trevor, asking him if I could make more up-to-date frames, he agreeing, me making an attempt, then discovering we didn't need to have dots on the frame, then fighting with the whole magenta / shadowing issues in Token Tool... At the...

Re: Gallery Administrator Token Overlays?

When I first found this site, I noticed that TokenTool was using that frame. I immediately noticed how low quality it was so I made higher resolutions of it for Trevor. I never understood why there were three colors around the edges, and why two were the same and the other was not - I didn't ask Tre...

I dont' think it is 100% memory related - I have more than enough and I was still terribly sluggish.

I thought that this was broke (due to the lag issue) and was to be fixed in B88?

Oh, is it? Sheesh, my head must be in a cave. Thanks! Well that would explain it then :)

Re: Maptools runs slow... need help

I took a quick look at your campaign, and the map that was very sluggish to me, was Swamp 2 (looks like a game in progress). Was that the map that you were having problems with? I see that you are also using Individual View + Individual FOG. Not sure if something went south with that or what, but ev...

Re: New tablet called Surface from Microsoft

In metro, java will not be possible, nor will photoshop, autocad, etc. That's the sort of thing that bugs me to no end. "if you want to use our devices, you have to use our programming language" instead of working on a model of making your device work with the most popular programming lan...

Re: Devin Night Token Kickstarter

Gotta love the inside of the whale! That just screams a place in my campaign! For those of you who are not aware, a few years ago Devin was kind enough to donate his token pack which is still available today within Maptool as a free download. That was super awesome of him, so if you could, help him ...
