Re: Melek's Simple 5e Framework - Updated 9/23/19 - Version 1.2

Hey Digiacom, I have no complaint to lodge, just an observation. Due to my current situation, I'm working from a laptop and adjusted the buttons to take up less screen real estate. I don't know of gui mass gui control, I can only do them individually. But thats ok! Thing is I can do them. The Swifts...

Re: Melek's Simple 5e Framework - Updated 8/28/19

Digiacom, Oh nice! I can do that. Hacking a token together is within my capability. I'd thought of it, but something I read about that token manager implied it needed to be used for new tokens, and I balked about hacking one for fear of breaking something. Doing it that way opens the way to all thos...

Re: DnD 5 - 743 Tokens with stat block, macros, spells

This token collection is awesom and amazing! I will be using it. Im building my first dungeon after many years away from d&d and just learning about macros, though Id been using maptool a long time. I hate to beg over a great gift but One of the first level monsters I want to use is the Crawling Cla...

Re: Melek's Simple 5e Framework - Updated 8/28/19

I will try this! I just finished learning codeblue's and dndNext frameworks and need something in between, and this seems nice I like bobfiles tokens too. Funny thing, I'm just building my first dungeon after years away and want to use Crawling Claws, and they are not in bobfiles token collection lo...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.43 [EMBARKATION]

This is my first go with BOT I'm lovin it! I took some time to research with vids and reading, and beginning to understand its all about how the tokens inter-relate and when everything is in the right place .... nice bag of tricks! Re: Grids question

Ok thanks Phergus, I'll do that. Since this post Ive learned a bit more and BOT is great. I now know how to install a basic set of features into existing campaigns to add teleport and event pads for now and expand as needed. Re: My First Macro! Next Step help, please

Tes, yes it is... to be honest, i recognize your name from when I was doing a lot of coding on MT and that was 10 years ago or so.. I am a bit surpised you are just now delving into macros. Is that because there is a game system no one else has done or because you dont like the frameworks others ha...

Re: Token VBL - inverted?

You can do a workaround if you can make an "inverted" image of the dungeon as a separate image, where the rooms are transparent and the walls are coloured and then generate VBL on that image, and layer it on top or below the original - that will go along way, it seems. Takes a little experience wit...

Re: My First Macro! Next Step help, please

Library tokens should be for things that apply to multiple tokens. One example would be "sleep"(as a generic term) that changes and updates multiple pc tokens in its code at once vs each player having to have their own "sleep" macro. They are also good for stopping common things such as spell descr...

My First Macro! Next Step help, please

Hello! My first macro. I'm digging in to learn some macro coding to better understand things like BOT and Frameworks. I looked at the code in BOT and a D&D5e framework and it's daunting for me atm. To get my feet wet I started coding from scratch. Started out to be simple combat roll calculator, wit...

Re: Grids question

Thanks for the replies.
An option to change how Object layer snaps in would be nice, and in particular situations a time saver but it's not a huge issue.

I deal with it like mentioned you can accurately stretch assets into position.
Thanks guys
