Re: Setting up MT for GURPS

I've been working off and on for several months on a GURPS framework, and I'm trying to bring my macros in line with the existing framework files in this thread. Skills in this framework are stored with two parallel arrays: SkillNames and SkillValues. What are the reasons to use this storage system?...

Re: do calls to json.set() pass JSON objects by value?

Many thanks for your help and clarifications. I probably should update the wiki to make this point clear.

do calls to json.set() pass JSON objects by value?

When you json.set() an object, it appears to create a new copy of the object with the new contents, rather than writing over the old. (If I remember my CS 101 correctly, this is called pass-by-value. Black outlines of fog-of-war [1.3b56]

In b56, black lines mark the edges of visible areas when fog-of-war is active. I find this outlining creates a unnecessarily cluttered view. Look at the transitions between the three layers of lighting/vision - bright light, dimmer light, and nighttime fog-of-war - created by the light source torch ...

[1.3b56] OSX: with drawing tools, cmd+LeftClick -> NullPtr

An odd i/o error that may be Mac-specific. I'm running 1.3b56 on a MacBookPro (10.5.6). Drawing tools typically work fine. However, when the drawing tools are active and I command-leftclick to move the map using either the trackpad or an external mouse, MapTool throws a null pointer exception, usual...
