Re: Ideas for how to implement fortune cards in maptool?

Right, but this shouldn't really be a thread debating whether or not fortune cards are good or not... but the OP is about how to implement them in maptool. I think there are a few tools around for decks right now - one allowed you to draw randomly (by creating a "card"/"token" on...

1.3 Final ... PR?

I looked a bit, but didn't see anything like this, sorry if this is a dup thread. Anybody have any ideas or plans for maybe a new release campaign? I know I've seen many of us with signatures and signature images related to MapTool, and there's been some great artists in the past doing banners, etc....

Re: [Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader & Deathwatch]Framework V.3.11

Just got wind that one of the people I play D&D with using MT got Deathwatch... your framework gives me hope for an online game!

Re: Write your Senator

Once we start getting into like the Fiscal v. Monetary Policy and what to do in a recession, I typically think we're doing a much better job discussing politics-economics than most people If we're going to make the assumption that the federal government should somehow attempt to affect the business ...

Re: Write your Senator

I know I mentioned the tax decreases can potentially raise revenue... tax foundation happened to jump on that here . I encourage you to click through, but here's the final message (last sentence is key): It’s unfortunate, therefore, to see prominent public figures like Romney making such an argument...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

Interesting... I wonder if it'd be difficult to take some light language and write something that created the summary text based on the CB file so it could be copied in. Then as long as they adhere to the same guidelines you look for, it wouldn't cause any issues. The other factor is that I'm no lon...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion

Hmmmm... from wizards: Now, when you choose to load a character from the main Character Builder menu, you'll see the options in the screen shot above. Clicking on export will export the chosen character to your computer as a CB file. Utilizing this, you can now keep your active characters in the clo...

Re: Token Database using Rumble's D&D 4th Framework

Oh, I just saw this, how cool !

Can someone do all the monsters from Hawke's Homebrew Campaign Parts 3.5 - 3.22? Thanks!

Just kidding, but a great idea... eager to see where this goes and if I'll be able to contribute any stock monsters I run into.

Re: Web services for game content

I hadn't really considered using an outside source to get it going. I do (or did) know my way around PHP and if I really wanted to I could probably re-figure out how to do the API for DDI and then still paste it in. I dunno why I'm so obsessed with some sort of built in idea Just seems like it'd be ...

Re: Wizards VTT (re)announced

Ha! If only the PRD supported webservice calls, I wonder if I could get someone to look into finding a webservice API to point some macro functions to that would benefit not only PF folks but 4E folks and any other company going that route!

Re: Wizards VTT (re)announced

Price wise... I dunno... if I can bring my players in at no additional cost I can see it a benefit. I can tell you right now my players will not shell out anything to play D&D online since we have a great tool. I think their only hope might be having two DDI subscriptions, one is a DM subscripti...

I said "wealth" and meant "income mobility." I've seen a bunch of studies, but I guess I'll pass along this link: m Thanks for your comments. I, too, think the deficit is of top concern... unfortunately it is so out of control I don't think the majority of people can fathom just ...

Really if there were some good macro functions to interact with tables then we could quickly and easily get deck like functions with only a few lines.

Re: Wizards VTT (re)announced

I could be wrong, but it looks like they offer 3 and 3.5 campaigns as an option. I didn't see anything for PF, but if their "support" would simply be adjusting their line of sight and movement tools to the rules for previous editions I don't see why they wouldn't do it. This late in the ga...
