Re: HTML stripping and tooltips that use SPAN

EpicWords has a MapTool chatlog to BBCode for their WIKI. That is one of the feature requests they did for me. It is very good at getting most of the stuff. I do use NP++ and RegEx, but I have never been able to get the macros to work with the RegEx.

HTML stripping and tooltips that use SPAN

I use the MapTool chatlog to post on EpicWords or ObsidianPortal (I hate Textile BTW) and to accomplish this I use a program called HTMLasText or textile.heroku.com. The problem is many of the tricks for macros to format text to have pretty tooltips and formatted outputs are not 100% HTML valid. Doe...

Re: Question

No, there is no function to handle this. How would MapTool know what VBL to erase? A character is standing outside a door and let us assume he has his token facing on and pointed towards the door. How much VBL should be removed? 1 sq, 2 sq a whole room? There is no way to know unless VBL is changed ...

Re: [Discussion] How do you use the Initiative Window?

I hide the NPC's from initiative and VBL/FoW everything for immersion reasons. I hate metagaming beyond anything when playing a RPG and have quit multiple games due to players that call out a NPC's AC or what they need to roll to hit. I also would love to use 2E's initiative rules for all my gaming ...

Re: Repeating attacks?

You can also unwrap text in NP++ with CTRL+J. The only downside to this is it adds spaces if there isn't a space present.

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework

OK, so I figured out most of my questions from before. Still don't understand how Size works other than when the Size changes to Small/Large/Huge, other than that it seems it is just flavor. Now, I have made a lot of changes to the code to handle the Statblock2Token macro I made. If anyone wants to ...

Re: TokenTool Overlay

Yes, in Savage Worlds they use Poker chips as Bennies(think Hero Points or Action Points but tangible) and that is the Hellfrost setting chip style. @JFrazierJr: I was following the tutorials in the TokenTool subforum and it does what you say but it doesn't make layers for each step. The problem is ...

Re: TokenTool Overlay

Thanks both of you! I wanted to have the blue border inside. Now, did you use GIMP to do that? If so, how did you unselect the magenta? I can't select just the blue and white using the magic wand or the select by color.

TokenTool Overlay

Can someone take this imageand make a TokenTool Overlay for me? I have tried multiple times using GIMP and the tutorial in the TokenTool forum, but for some reason GIMP 2.8 will not just select the blue and white border and wants to select the Magenta as well.

Re: Regular Expression

Thank you! I feel proud. Took me most of the night as after I got it working I tried it on a token and it choked on adding gear so I figured that out and now it works. All I have left is weapons and special case skills like Knowledge/Crafts and realized the abilities need the exploding bit on the en...

Re: Regular Expression

OK, why do I get an IllegalArgument Exception error on "^([\\p{Alnum}&\\s]+,)+[\\p{Alnum}&\\s]+$"? This should pull out all of the alphanumeric characters between commas starting from the beginning to the end. ~~Nevermind~~ This works for adding Edges and Hindrances: [H: "<!--...

Re: Regular Expression

Thanks Wolph42 that second wiki article may work. I am getting a problem with my replaces not working. I can trap all of the Edges, but I cannot replace all instances of parenthesis, dashes and spaces. OK, I am closer. I was an idiot and wasn't placing the trapped value into a variable and then do a...
