Re: Statblock2Token v1.8 ? I only see v1.6

I'm using the Statblock2token, works pretty well, but on the occasions it doesn't work I'm stumped. Is there any tips & trips for getting the 1.8 import to work smoothly? Or, if you want specifics, how come this stat block fails to create the attack for the Shortsword? Zyphus Cultist CR 1 Male o...

Re: Riding on a boat and a hosting question

Never mind, more searching found it.

Rotate: Ctrl+Shift+Mouse Wheel.

Larger size: Change token to an object, size it as you want.

Re: Riding on a boat and a hosting question

Thread resurrection!!!

Where is this "rotate" command to turn the token? I sure can't find it.

And what do you do with a token that is larger than colossal? In this case, I've got a 50' long boat, not just a raft. Can I get Maptools to size that correctly?

Re: Anyone willing to share their work for Serpent's Skull?

It would be cool if we changed the name to Maptoolz. Everything is cooler with a z. Yes, DM's Familiar is Windowz only, sorry. No Mac version is in the workz. DM's Familiar is not a character creator though. When you enter a character/monster, you type the data in directly (or import a stat block!)....

Re: Anyone willing to share their work for Serpent's Skull?

Can I plug http://www.paladinpgm.com/dmf ? With DM's Familiar you can: 1) Import a stat block straight from the Paizo PDF (or enter it by hand) 2) Click a button to export it to Maptools. 3) In the "Selected" window of Maptools, you can then right-click to import it. This gives you buttons...

Re: Anyone willing to share their work for Serpent's Skull?

Paizo doesn't allowing the sharing of their artwork unless it's part of the Community Use package. Maps and tokens aren't part of it.

Re: Pathfinder: Rise of the Runelords??

The program "Some PDF Image Extractor" while flakey, will grab all the images out of the PDF - including getting the maps and leaving the text behind.

Re: Pathfinder: Rise of the Runelords??

The reason you don't see them shared is probably that Paizo doesn't allow sharing the maps - unless you recreate your own version from scratch. Having said, I have no problem with Paizo maps - though I haven't tried Runelords. I just use Map > Adjust Grid - no gimp, no Excel scaletool. It lines up p...

"Bending" Light Around a Corner

Ran into an interesting setup last night: Imagine the PCs in a dungeon corridor, carrying a torch, and a 90-degree turn up ahead. The torch will light the entire hall up to the corner. Hearing a monster, a PC WITHOUT a torch runs up to the corner. The PC though cannot see anything around that corner...

Re: Free city map tiles

Yoink! I don't know about "free city map tiles", but those are darn handy when you need a small, quick map. Random encounter when traveling? Use the mill pond as your map. Need NPCs to ambush the PCs as they leave a library? Grab the university. Pickpocket NPC is spotted and chase ensues? ...

Re: Null Pointer Exception

OK, I know what SVN means now but... what does that mean? It kind of makes me think a new version is available. There's mention of a b84 (p1) version but the download page has just b84 on it. Regardless, everybody updated again last night and we still had the problem. I turned off the Lock Movement ...

Re: Null Pointer Exception

SVN? Social Value Network? Signal Vs. Noise? Serial Vin Number? In the announcement thread, I see lMarkus mention turning off (or maybe it's on) the Locked Player Movement from the menu (Edit > Preferences, Application tab -- which means players can only move their token if it's init? That's kind of...
