Any macro's using <!-- [ ] --> should switch them to { } instead. Like I said earlier, tooltips on anything is going to force everyone to rethink how they make their macros. I would disagree. I have no intention of changing 200+ macros. Leaving [] and {} alone and adding {{}} or [[]] doesn't requir...

I want tooltips for everyone. I'm tired of the die roll clutter in the chat screen. Then add tool tips to [] I agree with tool tips (after all I also submitted a patch to put them in) I just don't support enforcing them on every way of running a macro. All things considered: A third method for tool...

Adding <span></span> around the entire block is exactly what causes the break Take the above example in the style="" and the font-size="' will have embeded <span>. This will break what you are trying to display every time. And if you are unlucky enough its enough to make the Java HTM...

I was on the "make {} do that" side of this discussion until one of Craig's last posts. If what he's saying is accurate, it makes things like: <!-- [Roll = d20][Crit = floor(Roll / 20)] --> Attack: <span style="color:rgb({255 * Crit},0,0)">{Roll + ...

I can't think of any reason to use anything like that in the first place. Especially in the chat window. The chat is for roleplaying and communication. Spam and clutter makes it harder to roleplay. Handouts, graphics, and the like need to remain out of the chat window. That's a personal preference....

Health bars don't belong in the chat window in the first place, imo. It just creates massive amounts of clutter. The chat window should be for dice rolls and roleplaying. With tooltips, we can even minimize the impact of rolling dice while roleplaying. The health bars were an awesome example of jus...

Thanks very much: that works perfectly Btw - this has nothing to do with this post in particular, but I have to say that the people on this forum are exceptionally polite: I've been on other forums where my aforementioned question would have been scoffed at and I would have been called incompetent ...

Ok lets go through the requirements 1. "Roll" result with tool tips (this is a given since its what we are talking about) 2. "Roll" result without tool tip (currently what {} does) 3. "Roll" result with full output (currently what [] does) For some reason people are le...

Sorry for those of you who may have seen this in my other thread, but I thought I'd mention it here too. I believe there is a bug in the current svn trunk that was not there in b40. When I run the latest version from the svn trunk, any undeclared variables in macros (any type of macros, run from an...

I did initially just modify { }, but there are circumstances in which you don't want the full expansion (sometimes it's just not necessary, sometimes you don't want the expression to be visible—for example, DMs may want to display results without exposing all of an NPC's modifiers). Also, by creati...

Re: Getting rid of the old values on tokens and Map Tools

I know the old values stay if you delete them and about phantom properties. Using 2 different property sets that stuff. But how can i get rid of it all? I tried going into token and deleting the old values out but as soon as the token is brought back in it just pick them back up. If i want a clean ...
