Re: MT 1.3b57 Progress

To continue with the derailment. 4 is Fun and a lot of work. Trevor the main thing I found with 4 is that energy and time get reduced sharply. Plus you have 4 kinda close together. I have 2, 2 year apart then 4 years and 2 more. Not easier just planned that way.

Congrats and good luck.

Re: D&D3.5 Pathfinder MT1.3b56 Campaign Macros

You do not have to set it up. The Attack macro knows if you get multiple attacks based on BAB.

Re: ChatTool (Low Bandwidth)

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if there is much call for it, with voice chat offering so much greater communications bandwith for most groups. -hC On the other hand, my group behaves perhaps differently. My voice is the voice of the DM, their voices are just that, the players voices. We use the chatbo...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Development Build 55

The issue is whether you consider this a bug or not. When a new user logs into 1.3, makes a campaign file, fills it with maps, then wants to use one map in a different campaign, is he going to be frustrated or not that he cannot export that map? I tend to think that the map SHOULD be something that...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Development Build 55

Can we stop with the new stuff for 1.3? PLEASE. Lets get it to release. Concentrate on bugs no more changes. This is called project creep. Everyone wants what they want a sometimes forget that we do not pay for this tool. Trevor does an awesome job, PERIOD. And just because some feature does get imp...

Re: Drawing tool, textures and resizing....

A few thoughts. 1) You may want to get Gimp . It is a free graphics tool the give you the same type and level of control as photoshop from adobe. There are differences but either of them will do the work way better than any thing MS Paint can do. 2) for resizing the textures you probably want to use...

Re: When spammers attack!

Besides you are nitpicking extreme corner cases that will rarely come up; trim it down to 10 min. The fact is not many people post a new thread a day let alone 3 in 30 min. Not really true. When there is a new release there can be multiple treads produced very quickly for each bug. 1 minute would s...

Re: Face to face/Projector mode and Vision

Have you looked at the videos Brad did for LBL. They made it easier for me to setup LBL faster. Plus in one of the resent versions the setup automatic revel (revision > b50). So you do not have to use CTRL-I any more. Trevor has also made some general performance gains to the tool so all of it is mo...

Re: Working on Blocky Vision

Here's the trick, it need to be decided if the shape should be corner based, or if there is an additional central cell. Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that didn't make sense. Makes sense here!!! Edit: The central cell would work better instead of corner. That way it would be equidistant or from all 4 corners
