I remember loading Arch Linux onto my phone a long time ago using similar instructions, but installation of Linux VMs have come a long way since 2009. A coder named Zac has made a ton of scripts that streamline the process. However, I've never loaded straight Debian, so I'll get back to you on that...

Yeah I've been doing some search and read and haven't found much. Looked down Raspberry Pi too; maybe one day someone will beet me to it. I've got to re-install Linux on my testing device again. Looks like Planet generator might be Linux compatible as it requires a C compiler, how about the other one? If so I'll be adding them to the script to install MT and related software to fresh Linux installs on Android.
