Re: Weird Vision Blocking
Weird, yes. But I wish that was an actual function, one-way vision blocking. Did you hit ctrl-I to reveal FoW? If token is still in FoW, it won't show the VBL because it can't see it yet.

Re: Problem with player vision reveal.
Ah, what version of MT are you using. Before 1.61? (i don't recall) I had problems with auto reveal, but that went away with the newer version.

Re: compare/contrast - MT vs DJ
I'll be happy when MT implements multiple custom layers. Using the MT draw tools saves on memory allowing for larger mapped areas. I just hope layers can be moved and merged. Also, the type of layer (object, background, token, hidden) specified would be useful. I can see the use for a layer above the t...

If you use the 3.5/Pathfinder framework, you can set start map and location when people log in to server.

You can also set the smoke as a state on the token. Hidden state is an overlay with a similar effect.

Re: (WIP) Map of section of a city
Yeah, with my MT and my 2gigs of ram I need to set the ratio to 1/8th scale and then drag the map to the right size. Even then, that one image sucks up most of my MT mem. Once I delete the image I'm sure it will be okay, but working with it is tough. I think I'm going to just break the city up. I ha...

Re: Problem with player vision reveal.
Check vision (does PC have it), lightsources, day/night settings. Using ctrl-I should reveal while stationary. I think, but I'm not sure when you set center players on current view (continuous) it does a good job of continually updating vision, including areas passed through. Ie if you pass a hall, ...

Re: (WIP) Map of section of a city
Right now I have the map at roughly 1500 x 2000 pixels and 25 pixels = 100'. So, when I lay out the template I'll have to expand it by 12.5 times to get 50px = 5'. Since each layer is 1 color, I can probably do it in PSP to actual size, so I don't have to rely on a good eye in MT to get it right. Th...

Re: Spell Reference D&D 3.5/Pathfinder SRD
So, you want it to display the -D in the link? Because the original string isn't changed, but the output link is the book name format. So, if you pass it "bulls strength mass" it will return "Bull's Strength, Mass" as the link text but the original string is unchanged. In your ex...

Re: (WIP) Map of section of a city
I would be interested in the textures and objects rather than a whole map. I was at one point attempting to rebuild greyhawk to scale. Since using an actual image is way too big I was trying it with textures. I already have the terrain broken down in to some base textured areas. I use PSP and I'm no...

Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b63 Campaign Macros r04
Well, as soon as I'm done messing up my own code you will be able to process multiple tokens with no prompt (or with) by using specifying the details. You can let the prompts take over (if token has dr or spells on). I don't validate the drer value, but the spell is validated so you can attempt spec...

Re: Are you aware of this: onChangeSelection
I don't have time to play with it now, but I wonder if you have multiple frames that use the same interrupt if only one is ran(the last one) or if both are ran. If everyone starts writing code using <link rel='onChangeSelection' type='macro' href='macroLink'> I'm just wondering if the calls are stac...
