Re: MapTool 1.4.0.2 Build

Great job, everyone! Nice to see some cool stuff getting implemented! Now for the million dollar question: I have been using 1.3 since forever - is 1.4 solid enough to use during my games? My macros aren't super crazy or anything, because we play face to face - very simplistic. I ask because this ne...

Re: randBetween(low,high) ??

I would love to have the ability to do randbetween() I actually have a need for that now. I am creating all the generic monster templates for D&D5 that work off the Monster Statistic by Challenge Rating chart in the DMG, and it clearly states that the creature will do 9-14 (one example) damage, ...

B91 Bug?

Before I actually post this in the bug section, I want to know if this is normal or if there were new key strokes added or what. We were using B89 until B91 came out, to give you a reference point. OK, I used B91 during a One-shot and was doing my thing - I tend to use key strokes for a lot of the M...

Re: Searching for dice-images

The integrated images from MapTool are... really ugly... and with shadows... Hey! I made those 'ugly dice'!  Those are actual photos of a set of 'crystal' dice I own. Originally Trevor and I had the concept of being able to take those and make code in MT so that the DM/Players could app...

Re: [b91] ATTENTION: rudimentary change in macro script!

Question, Friend. I don't know what all this means exactly, but our group just uses Maptool for the most part and does very little with intense macros. Is this that you mention, a deal breaker? I was going to have the guys use B91 next session, but should I wait? Let me know in layman's terms. :) Th...

Re: Take Damage Macro for 5th Edition

In most cases when something goes haywire in your code while also using token properties is accidental change of token properties by using it as a var inside the code. Now am is pretty strict on this matter so I'm not sure it's actually relevant, but it helps to ALWAYS use identifiers for local (so...

Re: Take Damage Macro for 5th Edition

You are a rock star, Aliasmask! Thank you! I tested it out and it works, except, none of the temp hp stuff seems to work. When I add temp HP (4) to the token and then take some damage, all I get on the output is: "PC Token was hit for 20 damage. PC Token takes 20 and now has 0 hitpoints remaini...
