Re: hi i am new and loving maptool but i have a small proble
Generally the free re-size box exists for objects on the Object and Background layers. Are you trying to resize a token on the Token layer?

Re: Roll20 VTT - web based
I'm not completely sold on roll20 just yet. The drawing tools are very limited, and I have not been able to find a way to paint by tiles. As far as map creation goes, nothing comes close to MT still. Oh, absolutely. It's a terrible map-making program; you have to make your maps somewhere else, then...

Re: Roll20 VTT - web based
OK, after two months of not paying attention, I've been looking into how much they've improved this thing. Answer is "a lot." Flash still crashes whenever I load a campaign (which doesn't do much except prevent me from viewing their Intro Video from that location). But they've fixed the sn...

Re: Raoden's Quick'n'Dirty Token Manager
Probably because it started with a '[' but didn't end with one? I dunno ... I've sadly lost much of the knowledge of MapTool code that I had back when I made this tool.

Re: Roll20 VTT - web based
I'm on the Beta, too, but I'm pretty busy, so I'm mostly waiting for them to iron out some of the kinks before I really try to test anything.
So far, trying to play their introductory video makes Flash crash every time, and I can't figure out how to turn off Snap To Grid.

Re: MapTool 1.3 Final, patch05 (build 88)
I've been able to reproduce this Freesize issue with a b87 campaign. It appears that a fix applied previously to force initial map draws to work correctly when a campaign is loaded is clearing a cache at the wrong time. Since the cache is empty, the Object tool can't find it and the token size is r...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Final, patch05 (build 88)
I don't know what triggers this issue -- it doesn't happen in new campaigns -- but in some campaign files in b88, I've stopped being able to resize Freesize images. The little black square in the corner with the green arrows on it just doesn't show up. I've tried making new maps, restarting MapTool,...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Final, patch05 (build 88)
Correct. As noted in that bug discussion somewhere else, that bug will not be fixed in 1.3. It involves a lot of code changes to fix it. Basically, the Undo/Redo implementation is a global data structure instead of being per-map (that's the first problem) and the data structure chosen can't be modi...

The Draw Tool / Undo command bug is still going strong. But I didn't see it in the ChangeLog, so you probably knew that already.

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.9.0 [Mapped Telpo
So, I'm finally getting around to trying to learn all these spiffy utilities. The .cmpgn file seems to work fine, but when I just drop the .rptok into another campaign, I get an error simply from trying to open the frame "Bag of Tricks Macros": Error in body of roll. Statement optio...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Final, patch05 (build 88)
I am also using Windows 7, also using Java 1.6 (unless some automated update "upgrade" to Java 1.7 without asking me, which I don't think is the case), and b88 launches fine for me.

Wow, magnetic ... meaning it will have a lot in common with MRI technology, which is what I'm starting research on next month. Finally my "responsible" and "gamer" interests may have found some overlap ...Azhrei wrote:Ah, magnetic! Interesting idea. Thanks for the details.

Re: Permently open frame with input
Yeah, any "frame" stays open unless a macro tells it to close. (The ones that automatically close after you use them are Dialogs, not Frames.) So you just have to remove such a command from the macros in your framework. Such a frame could be either macroLink -based or HTML-Form-based (with...
