Re: Raoden's Quick'n'Dirty Token Manager

Thanks Flak. Back when I was an active participant, I guess this was easy to access via my sig ... alas, I'm on indefinite hiatus from regular participation in MapTool. Hopefully I can get back into it this fall.

Re: MapTool 1.3 Final, patch01 (build 84)

Okay, so b83 was short-lived. More than one bug was found. The bugs reported in the b83 announcement thread are fixed and here's the latest. As usual, the ChangeLog linked from the Main Page of the wiki has details about what was fixed in this build. Quite a few items for a 24-hour turn-arou...

Re: The Board Game Project for Maptool

Back when I had free time, I spent a couple days putting together the very basics of a macro system to set up a Settlers of [removed for protection from copyright laws] board. I can't find where I saved it now, but when I do, I'll attach it, in case anyone wants to use it as a springboard for making...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Release Candidate Build 82 (1.3-RC5)

I usually have my grid off, except when drawing. I think a nice compromise would to have the grid above the drawables on object layer, but below images. I sometimes draw on the object layer to cover parts of an image on the background layer. It would be really noticeable if the grid was below the d...

Ugh, Joe, that sucks. Consider yourself to have added yet another small layer to my own libertarian sentiments.

So ... is Colchicine restricted at Customs? Maybe you'll have to start making some quick trips to Canada?

Re: Official(?) MT 1.3 Documentation Project

Map import and export should have its own (short) section.

"Making a map" should be its own area, too. It should reference a lot of the things Brad talks about in his video tutorials: selecting images that aren't too high-resolution, drawing with textures, copying/pasting, etc.

Re: Feature requests for 1.4

I'm especially looking forward to Templates being fully-supported, editable objects. I assume with 1.4's customizable Layers, that we will also get to name our own layers? So I can indeed make one clearly for Templates? I'm not sure what to call this one: This one comes from another friend, who...do...

Re: Character sheet macro?

I placed the token in my campaign (the black horse one), dragged the "Open Token Manager" button but when I click on it i get the error message: "Undefined function: css.main" I'd love to check it out if I can get it working, in the meantime I'll use the HTML workaround the firs...

Re: Write your Senator

A "representative" should not allow their feelings to weigh in on the matter. They should be voting on what their constituents thought their stance was. While I'm sympathetic to your overall sentiment, I disagree with this statement. Ideally, a "representative" should absolutely...

Re: Character sheet macro?

You can take a look at the Quick 'n' Dirty Token Manager linked in my signature. It might be what you're looking for, if you want a GM to be able to edit the token at a bare-bones, high-control level with no cute user interface. If you do want something more user-friendly or artistic, you can still ...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Bugfix Build 74

Tried hunting for the elusive template jitter today in b74. Didn't find it, but I did find a couple of other things: 1) You can't draw a template with a radius bigger than 30 grid units. I personally can't think of a game that would use anything close to that, but it did strike me as arbitrary. 2) ...

Re: MT CSS

Yeah, this should work with macroLinks. I've been successful at changing their colors and removing their underline. If it's not working for you (with a selector of "a", plus possibly a class or id), try a different version of the CSS properties, maybe? I think mine worked with just color: ...
