Re: Who still plays D&D 3.x?
A third option (C: I play both) might have given a bit more info as well. Not nessicarily for support, but because now I'm curious.

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities
Well, I'm sorry it's such an issue. I don't know much about coding. But to me, damage type is important, especially with resistance and vulnerability and such. Well, it is a big deal to know what type of damage it is, but what deviant is saying is that in the keywords for the power (for example &qu...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Development Build 50
Okay, just checking. I've just been creating shortcuts to the batch file to put on my quicklaunch and whatnot. Oh, and I should mention that your sample pic which shows how to edit the shortcut does not show the path enclosed in quotes, so it may not be immediatly obvious to some users whether the 1...

Re: MT 1.3b50 progress
I would like a two-step option on the first run. First check if there's a config file. If not, a dialog asks the user to enter the command-line arguments in textboxes, which are filled in with reasonable defaults. Then it writes a config file and runs MapTool. On subsequent runs, it should follow t...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Development Build 50
The .exe launcher is in the zip with all the other files. Speaking of the launcher, how much memory/stack etc does it allocate by default. Or am I misunderstanding how the launcher works. It defaults to 256M for memory and doesn't touch the stack. You can increase the memory allocation. Instruction...

Re: DDI: Character Builder Live!
I like it A LOT. The ability to play out the "what if"s quickly and accurately is quite nice. Plus, as a DM, knowing my players use it means a lot less rechecking and fixing errors on sheets.

Re: How far along have you planned your character?
I mostly take stats into account for character class, that, and "talent" class feature. Those are the two things (besides class) that you can't change. Race you can't change either, but I choose race based on the character I want to play, not the stats. Mostly I try to look at the paragon ...

Re: HELLLLP - The wife HATES the 4e rules !
I would have to agree that it is the layout of the book that makes 4e complicated at first blush. It took me a *lot* of flipping back and forth for my first 4e character. I eventually put the chart with level dependant benefits on a forum for my players to make things a little easier. We 3rd edition...

They're all there, at least in Thunderspire. We're using b45 and used the first 3 maps today. Are you switching maps with the blue world icon in the upper right (under the red x)? Thanks BTW Thinklibertarian. I was afraid I was going to have to make the maps for my group, but didn't want to since it...
